  1. Hi there. Day10/11 and the shedding is beginning. Some started minor in day 7. Question is that I am minor shampoo and massage as per docs instructions. Some hairs that have that pulpy sheath are coming/falling out with hair mostly when wet. It basically looks like the way they were transplanted but a just a drier sheath/plug. Seen a plug /sheath with 4 hairs come out, no bleeding from any. Is this normal? Always thought the hairs would just fall out but not the sheath or plug or whatever that is. Some of the crusts slide off, it's just the sheath part I'm concerned about.
  2. Day 6 after fut. Have been very lightly shampoo and conditioner my hair. Noticing the grafts raise up a bit but a bunch of white wet chunky stuff is sitting on scalp or sliding off the hairs. Should I comb off? As well, some of the white wet crusts fall off with hair in them. Is this normal for day 6 and should I comb out?
  3. When grafts begin to fall out, do they just look like normal hairs or do they have that whitish sheath barrier attached? In day 5 and prepping for the shedding part.
  4. Thank you. Yes there was no bleeding just the two hairs bonded in the root sheath. Also it seems the skin follicle sites seem very white and raised when showering. Is that normal? Scared they could pop right out.
  5. Day 5 after transplant. Noticing white spots where scabs are after washing hair. Touched head and two attached hairs came out with the white clear stuff around them but no blood. Is everything ok?
  6. Hi there. Had mine in Denver at Colorado transplant center this week. Live in Canada but I couldn't afford our cost. Doctor does the strip and stitching, team does the slits and incisions. I flew back next day but op and post op care was great. Very nice team and took very good care of me.
  7. Perfect guys thanks. The doc and pharmacy told me not to use baby shampoo though it is tearless it can be a bit harsh. Apparently hairdressers use baby shampoo to help strip coloring out of hair. Bought a mild shampoo.
  8. Had 2000 grafts on top and hairline. Work was done on Tuesday. Now being Friday. Can I wash hair with a cup of soap and water instead of saline? Also do I put polysporin still on my grafts and suture area?
  9. Went there this week for 2000 grafts. Honestly, and I am quite a picky guy, the service was great. They picked me up from airport, took me to the hotel and made me eat lol. Dr. Boland does the surgery part then the y have another that does the hairline and incision. she was very good! For the amount of work and effort they put in, the price is great. Logically you will not be staying at the Hilton and have beautiful ambient lighting and music for the price. The hotel was normal, all you want to do is sleep, and the office is clean, has a tv to watch, I did a lot of Seinfeld and tried not to laugh, but Dr Boland and the whole team were super. Would use them again.
