  1. Hi, I have been using 1mg of propecia for about 5-6 weeks. I am not sure if I have side effects, because I have had very low libido for the last year anyway, but I still cant conclude whether its worse now or before. Also feeling a lot of anxiety today, but might be because I have been browsing the forums about the nasty side effects. I have three questions here which might be a bit unrelated. Appreciate all kinds of answers 1) I was wondering whether 0.5mg of Fin could improve the side effects (if there are any) and still maintain the hair growth results? 2) Are there any reports on results from Propecia vs minoxidil + ketoconazole? Could I benefit the same way from minoxidil + ketoconazole? 3) I have heard something about topical finestaride, but cant find much. Does anyone have any experience with that in regards of hair growth and side effects? Thanks again guys!
  2. Hi, I am using 5% minoxidil (not foam) and I am experiencing flaking on the scalp like I have seen many others do. I see some people suggest using the foam, but the problem is that the foam version does not exist in my country, and it is quite difficult to import it from other countries as well. So I am just wondering; does the flaky skin caused by minoxidil inhibit the hair growth effect from minoxidil? Because it is not bothering me that much, its just that I have the feeling that it is not good for my scalp and my hair. Anyone? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I have been on Propecia for about a month now, not sure about side effects, but I have noticed on thing the last days. My head is starting to itch, and mostly on the vertex. It doesnt bother me too much now, but I have read about others having the same problem, and I am not sure what the end result was. Also I see others with this issue also having a lot of hair shedding. As I am aware of, I have not noticed any shedding. I also cannot find this side effect on the list of side effects of Propecia. Nb; Not sure if its just placebo or something like that, but I also feel like the rest of my body is itching more, sounds weird. Do you guys have any ideas what to expect, or have you been in the same situation? Thanks!
  4. I think this is cheaper, but not sure if my perscription covers that also. Its all the same? I guess a little problem might be making the dosage 100% correct
  5. Wow, thats cheap. I have to get a perscription in my country. One year usage is about 2000 USD. I can afford it, but still a painfull cost I guess it wont be easy to get it from another country through customs. I am thinking of adding 5% minoxidil to the mix, hoping it works. Anyone feels that 2% ketoconazole twice a week is also helpful?
  6. As long as I can restore what I have left I would be sattisfied with that. Lets hope it works on the receding hairline then. Any others? Thanks for the answers by the way!
  7. Hi, I have been reading numerous bloggs and stuff like that which only states that Propecia works on the crown of the head, and I was wondering about past experiences from you guys. As I understand, the crown is just a small part of the head, and I honestly dont understand why Propecia is so popular if it only helps at the small part on the top of the head. I have also seen a lot of photos of people with maintained/increased hair growth at the hair line. My hairline has receded for a while I feel and I started Propecia(1mg/day) one week ago - hoping for the best Also, have anyone experienced increased success in the treatment by also including a 2% ketoconazole shampoo once every four day? Hoping to 'hair' from you guys
