  1. Thanks for sharing, That's good to hear and reassuring. I might try it one day. Have you tried 10% Minox? Can you recommend any online retailers for such a product?
  2. Spanker - what do you mean by 'more donor'? Tbh the reason I haven't tried is the small chance of 'manly' side effects. I think they're small but is playing on my mind. And Minox has been working so if it ain't broke.. Appreciate Propecia may improve but am worried of the placebo effect even if the side effects don't actually occur Am I asking the wrong Q's here? Thought I'd get some replies re 10% minox and who to try/buy from online...
  3. Hello - I've not tried Propecia so far. The Minoxidil 5% + 10% seemed to be doing the trick and I just wanted to keep things simple for as long as possible. If they stop or slow down then will look to use something else - likely something popular like Propecia. Can I ask, is there a reason you've not tried anything over 5% Minoxidil?
  4. Posted a topic in the completely wrong forum so here goes, in the right forum 31 years old now - been using Regaine 5% foam for around 5 years, and seemed to be working in that it slowed down the thinning. (I'm generally thinning across the full crown) But in the last year it stopped working and so went to the "specialists" in Belgravia centre, who suggested: Minoxidil 5% + MPG 0.0125% lotion (applied in the AM) Minoxidil 10% + Azelaic Acid 5% cream (applied in the PM) Good News - they are working! Getting some re-growth But they charge ?300 for 3 months supply. I see a number of online retailers and 100s of opinions about them - such as Minoxidil Max and Xandrox who both seem to be able to deliver SIMILAR products. What would you guys recommend? Buying a Minoxidil 5% lotion and a Minoxidil 10% lotion online and going with this for a while?
  5. Oops, clearly in the wrong forum. Need to move to the Hair Loss Drugs forum...not sure how
  6. nothing...?? a little guidance would be appreciated... is there any diff between a 10% Minoxidil + AA cream (costing ?50 per month) vs the same ingredients but in a lotion from an online retailer at half the cost?
  7. My name is CellarDoor and I've been ripped off by The Belgravia Centre So I'd been using Regaine foam for around 5 years, seemed to slow the thinning down ok. This year, it stopped working (I'm 31) and so went to Belgravia Centre, knowing nothing of what they provide or the costs. 20 minutes later I walked out with 3 months supply costing ?300. Conveyor belt rip-off and I was given: Minoxidil 5% + MPG 0.0125% lotion (applied in the AM) Minoxidil 10% + Azelaic Acid 5% cream (applied in the PM) Good News - they are working! Getting some re-growth But I can't afford these prices and have been reading so many threads on topics similar but not quite the same. There must be a reliable, trust-worthy, online alternative for the above prescription? I've visited Minoxidil Max and Xandrox who both seem to be able to deliver SIMILAR products. I just don't know the best alternative to Belgravia...help? (I know it's subjective but there must be 100s of us given the same prescription as above...the middle-aged, tight-dress wearing "specialist" could've been asleep when she gave my prescription!)
