Update 2 weeks to the day since HT. I think i may be starting to shed I can see little hairs in my hand so I'm guessing the worse part is on its way. Anyway please let me know why you all think so far and also if anyone has any ideas how best to get it cut considering it will prob all fall out. Thanks for looking

11 days post op. and scabs have pretty much gone and I'm really happy with how it looks but on the other hand am absolutely dreading the ugly duckling phase.. Why does this have to happen I'm just getting used to my new stubbly hair.. Gutted...

I got alot of scanning flaking off which is making me gently rub it. Is that ok? It looks a bit thinner than it did but I'm guessing that's the scabbing coming off? Ill try and upload another pic but it's not letting me at mo

Hi can anyone help with when or if it's a good idea to start using the regaine foam after my HT. Also can I confirm it's ok to carry on taking fernesteride straight after transplant? Also what's best cutting 5mg in 5ths and taking daily or quarters or halves ... Argghhh to many options... Thanks for any help

Thanks Garageland. Should they all be secure now then? I am still washing through a towel very gently as i don't want to loosen any grafts. I find it hard to wash the donor area also as it is tender.

My hair count was as follows: 3299 grafts 548 - 1s 2073 - 2s 678 - 3s and 4s

Update: 5 days post op and all is still looking good. Donor are a bit irritating and itchy but apart from that all is good. Once staples are out I will try and get a trim so I look less like a monk until it all falls out . I'll post son epics ASAP

Thank you for your replys and thanks for the advice I know I have some horrible stages to go through yet but I'm in it for the long haul. I can't wait tho I hope it all turns out ok. And advice on scar reduction and itching?

Before and immediately after pics. I'll keep you all updated but initially I'm so happy and the Farjo clinic were amazing. Just to wait for results now fingers crossed.

I had my HT yesterday in Manchester with Dr Farjo. I was extremely nervous right up until I got to the clinic. The whole Farjo team were amazing and very helpful and understanding. I ended up with around 3300 grafts not sure of the amount of hairs in each graft yet but will let you know. I know it's only the next day and I have a great deal of time etc to go yet but so far my experience with them has been exceptional. I will keep you updated with results

I just didn't nowhere to get hold of fernesteride but to be honest I did look amazingly hard. spex put me onto someone and I am also hopeful my own doc can prescribe them privately to me. Thanks again for your input I will be speaking to muck again on Tuesday to confirm things and go from there. Hi Shannon maybe we can go through all this together lol. -

Thank you very much for your reply. Mick did suggest I took fernesteride for a few months prior at my consultation in nov, this I did for around 3 to 4 months then I ran out of tablets and struggled to get more. Although m Not ideal as there was a gap in between it would have taken around 4 to 6 months worth before HT. Thanks again for your reply and advice -
Hi I am new to the forum so hello everyone. I am a 34 yr old male who has been suffering from hair loss for around 8 years. I have contemplated a HT for well over a year now and had my consultation with mick last November. I have finally plucked up the courage to take the plunge. I started using. Minoxidil and fernesteride around a month or so ago after speaking to spex. I have been reading this forum for around 8 months and finally thought I would join so i can share my experience. It took me ages to trail through different clinics and surgeons and I eventually narrowed it down and have now chosen Dr Farjo. After looking at different forums and reviews etc he seems to be one of the best around. I would be grateful for any advice and also anyone's personal view of Farjo. As i said Mick was very helpful and understanding and I'm hoping I have made the right decision. Thanks fro reading Chris
