  1. Hi Bill, hope this finds you well across the pond there. I've just written up a little pre-op piece on my imminent journey to Turkey/Istanbul for five days. Thanks again for all your advice and support and running a great forum on here. Kindest Regards, Campbell.

Hi Bill. I've just managed to work out how to get onto the new site!! Bill, I do need some advice please. I was going to follow up with Paul Feller in NYC, but next month I am flying over from the UK to Los Angeles. I know there are a number of surgeons/pracitioners in the Southern California area, but there is 'so much' information, I am lost at finding 'one' who 1. Is outstanding. 2. Is reasonably priced. Just trying to get that balance.

Any pointers, advice on this would be more than welcomed!! But I'm still wearing a hat!! for now.

    Best, Campbell.

  3. Thanks Bill, I appreciate the warm welcome. To be honest, I'm fairly nervous about the whole HT thing and sometimes I think..."if I can get the money together (which isn't cheap for 'me') would it be better spent some other way, like helping others rather than myself (that's just the way I *think* and the nature of my work is helping people with autism).

But the fact that I'm *here* and looking at options means that it does bother me having what I feel is substantial hair loss and hence prematurely 'ages' me. The other arguement is that life isn't a rehersal and 'yes' I'm one of the few fortunate ones in the world who has a 'chance' to change some things.

The chap who represents Dr Feller has been in contact and given me a number, so that if I need to contact him (Spex), so that was nice, and he offered it in a nice, non pushy way, so I appreciate him doing that (and answering a few of my initial questions). The Yanks do seem to be spear heading this area of surgery. But I do have to balance up the costs (it's just the situation I'm in). I work part time due to PTSD, following an attempted murder a few years ago. Left me with metal plates holding my head together (hey, I'm Irish, so there was probably damage there anyway!!), but also has contributed to hair loss. So the part time work brings in a minimal wage, but I'd rather be doing something to help others than nothing at all (it's about self value and esteem and investing one's time into the community we live I guess).

Anyway, I've probably said too much already, but really just wanted to say, "thanks for having me and it's a great support net work here made up of professionals and those that have been treated or are contemplating it!" Thanks again Bill. Best, Campbell (UK).
