  1. Thank you for your helpful feedback! I greatly appreciate it.
  2. Thanks so much for the helpful feedback. This particular doctor is not a traveling one. He told me in consultation that he did extensive research to find the technician that had the best reputation for success and extensive experience and then hired him to move there (DC area) to do all his work. I met with both of them and they explained the work, etc. I do believe this doctor has integrity based on some prior experience with him as well. NeoGraft itself doesn't place things in a corn row, right? It is just a tool and what matters is the skill and care of the technician doing it and the doctor's supervision of it. Do you agree with that? Thanks again,
  3. Has anyone gone to a doctor who uses the NeoGraft machine for extraction and placement? Does it work artificial or does it look real? Thanks for whatever others can share about this.
  4. I'm new to posting on the forum so apologies for information omissions here. Just wanted to dart off a brief note to tell you I'm thrilled with Dr. William Lindsey (McLean, VA). Though I will have to wait 6-12 months to see the ultimate results, the grafts I've seen for over 3 weeks since my procedure of February 11 look extremely promising. This is my second try. My first was 1200 grafts with a Bosley doctor in D.C./Chevy Chase. While he was competent I'm sure and the office is very nice, there were many deficiencies I identified the more I processed what took place on the day of the procedure and followup visits. I began to do the research I failed to do the first time. I'll save all that for a future discussion. For now, let me just say that I'm thrilled with Dr. Lindsey. He was professional from the very beginning. When I told him I wanted some hairs in some places in front, he advised me against it, citing the risk of shockloss as being too high. He couldn't have done more grafts and "taken my money" but the man cared more about the best care he could provide. And price-wise, he was so, so much less than Bosley or any others I've seen out there that I was able to get the 1,500 grafts and save several thousand dollars! Everything has been professional. He's been amazingly responsive to e-mails both leading up to and following the procedure. And public transit (metro plus bus or cab) from D.C. made it quite accessible. I had considered flying to California so there was no need to travel far. He actually gave me 1,791 grafts without charging me extra! Most of the hairs were placed in the hairline to lower it and they look great. They are just now starting to drop out. He also selectively placed a few in the front area where the risk was low for shock loss--i.e., less density there. The first doctor had willingly placed them in front in various areas and strongly suggested I go for more, obviously interested in the dollar. He also never mentioned shock loss. I'm so pleased with Dr. Lindsey for so many reasons that I referred my nephew--who's been wanting to do it for a long time--to the doctor and he will be getting his procedure later this month. Dr. Lindsey is good with the techie stuff too, loading photos to his computer and showing them to me after the procedure so at some point, I'll ask if he minds posting the before and after photos. Dr. Lindsey is one of the recommended surgeons by this forum and I'm so glad I explored his site as part of my research. He also, by the way, has been affiliated with the well-regarded Dr. Feller (New York). His pricing is displayed right on his site so you don't have to call to get some basic initial information. Will try and post more. I stay busy with work so don't have much time to stay on too often. I may not need to do another procedure now. Propecia & minoxidil seem to be at least preventing further loss since I've been on them for a couple of years. Good luck to everyone out there! 1st-Morse, Nov 2008, 1200 grafts 2nd-Lindsey, Feb 2010, 1791 grafts
