  1. Thanks Phil: The way I understand it, for the most part HT procedures, with experienced doctors, are successful but its a buyer beware situation. I would think it would be extremely difficult to prove that a graph didn't take because of something the doctor or his staff did or did not do.
  2. Bill: Thanks for the additional insight on this subject.
  3. Bosley did not provide you with a written guarantee. One of their doctors verbally said they "will stand by you" which means nothing in a court of law and means nothing outside either. Phil, Not sure if its legal binding but they did give me a written guarantee which states: "THE BOSLEY GUARANTEE-For all hair transplantation procedures performed at Bosley, we guarantee to replace any non-growing hair transplant graph free-of-charge, providing only that the patient has adequate donor hair. In our experience, such replacement has seldom been necessary."
  4. I am new to this forum and I had HT done by Dr. Michael Meshkin about two weeks ago--about 3000 grahps. I am mostly done with the shedding phase. Boy am I glad to get through that stage. Next week will be my first post op visit and my sutures will be removed! My question is about written guarantees. Before having my HT done I did some research including a consultation by a Bosley group representative. In my consultations with HT doctors one of them advised me that due to legal reasons they could not give a written guarantee. But a reputable doctor would standby his work and offer to "fix" any issues. If legally they cannot give a written guarantee, why is that Bosley was able to provide me with one during my initial consultation?
