  1. Good afternoon everyone and happy memorial weekend, hope everyone is having a relaxing stress free weekend! As I sit inside the house and watch my family hanging by the pool enjoying themselves in the sun, I sit here 2 months post op avoiding the sun on my new follicle babies. I know I could wear a hat, bandana etc, but after being obsessed with my hair for years and finally getting a HT and the big investment both $$ time and emotion I rather play it safe. My question is I have been reading up on Melanotan, it gives you the tanning effect without exposure to the sun or any UV rays. Everything I read has given no talk to hairloss as a side effect. I'm wondering if any of you guys have used it post op and had any effects? I don't mind staying pastey white u til my hair is fully grown but if there is zero sides Im willing to give it a shot. Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated.. Happy growing!
  2. One day.. 8am-5pm Pain wasn't too bad, made me tear up a bit but you don't feel anything after..
  3. hey guys quick update, im 15 days out. scabs are all gone, ive lost a few of the transplanted hairs but majority have stayed on. I don't really have redness, Aloe Vera helped out a lot! I actually went to work and a family gathering and had everyone just say "wow you buzzed your hair", even had one cousin say out loud "well at least your not going bald" Which gave me a lil mini Boner inside haha No one knows I had anything done and it really does look very natural so far, I realize these hairs will fall out before we start to grow but man it felt good. im happy with the design, didn't really go to aggressive, I wanted to take the more natural and not noticeable approach, less is more if you will. I kind of rather keep doing small procedures and stay ahead of the thing/balding areas rather then wait til I lose a large amount then have a larger procedure where everyone would then notice. I applied aloe vera 2 times a day and that helped everything stay hydrated, took my vitamins, and was really really scared of shampooing but I softly dabbed shampoo and then rinsed off by pouring water into a cup and rinsing. Now at post 14days I am rubbing gently and sleeping semi normal, I try to still sleep upright a bit. any questions or anything im here and happy to answer..
  4. Well not really thinking bout that yet. Going to have to wait and see how these results turn out but I'm sure in future I will need to touch up hairline and temple points as well as fill in natural hair on top and crown I will lose with age..
  5. Hey rootz, Be happy to answer, the reason the front of hairline was left untouched was because I already had a good amount of hair there and dr feriduni said we shouldn't pack grafts In a so dense area. 1. The dr is very flexible with design, he actually first drew the temples closed off and I'm the one who thought it would be a better idea to have them slightly open as I want a more natural looking hairline. Also I don't have a big donor so I didn't want to waste precious grafts on a low aggressive hairline. 2. I'm not sure how many were used in each temple, maybe someone from the clinic can post it on here, its def ok with me. 3.the clinic does a great job providing you with everything you need and answering any questions, I guess Iwould of packed some movies cause there was nothing in English on tv and those first 2 days you don't want to move and risk bumping your head. 4. Cristian isn't very big but he looks in shape, I'd say his max is around 215-225. Haha
  6. hey everyone, just got back home from having 2473 fue grafts from dr feriduni. Lil bio about me, 32years old been losing hair slowly since I was 22.. still had a good amount of hair on top but I wanted to stay ahead of the problem, I am aware I will need further procedures in the future, this time around I wanted to frame my face. I went with pretty conservative approach, wanted to make sure I would have a natural look and hairline for now and the future.. ive attached pics and please feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to update and answer any questions. ive been a longtime lurker on these forums and because of all those who have posted and shared stories it helped me go ahead and take the plunge, so I want to do my part to pay it forward. I chose dr feriduni because ive read he is top 3 in the world so I figured if im doing his im going to the best, worse thing anyone can do is go with a leser skilled surgeon because of distance and price. if it comes out less desirable then you will always kick yourself in the future. dr feriduni and his staff were very warming, friendly and professional, I felt very comfortable and would recommend them to anyone.
  7. Just arrived in Hasslet.. 10 hour flight and hour cab ride later I'm in the hotel room.. Fue in t-minus 18 hours.. Ill give some pics and info after.. Nerves starting to kick in!!
  8. Nope this will be my first, my flights tomm.. Starting to get lil, anxious lol
  9. here are some shots I just took on my phone. as you can see my hairline on right side and temple need most attention, and overall framing of face. do you guys think its worth even suggesting a few hundred units on my crown or should I wait for future go around.. thanks
  10. Thanks sped, I've been following you for many years now, always great info, much appreciated. I'm going to attach some pics before I leave, I'm going for around 2400 and I'm kind of thinking if I should request 300 or so on my crown, don't know if it will cause more harm than good, advice from you guys would be great. Of course ill take dr Feridunis expert advice. Framing my face might be most important for first go around.
  11. Thanks Octamus, I'm staying for 2 days. Inwishnincoldnstay longer but I run my own business so I have to be back to make sure everything is being done. Getting excited but it really hasn't sunk in yet, like all of us I'm just nervous about to end result, that's why I went with one of the top docs in the world so I wouldn't 2nd guess myself later on.
  12. Booked back in August,,, they had notified 2 diff times of cancellations if I wanted to go sooner but I was working and on vacation.
  13. Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster. As you read by the headline I'm having fue with feriduni next week after a 6 month waiting list. I been lurking hair forums for about 10 years now and finally going through with it. A lil background, I'm 32 have been losing my hair since 21.. Rogaine and fina have helped slow down hair loss I believe because I have family hairloss on both sides (about Norwood 5s) I'm having about 2200-2400 done and I'm looking to basically frame my face (hairline, temples) i realize I will need further procedures for future loss and I'm fine with it. I realize I'm never going to get my mane back, just looking for good coverage (aren't we all). I plan to document and update here and answer as much as possible because its because of those who have had procedures and post their results on here that made me go for it. It's the reason I chose dr feriduni, I've read multiple great posts as well as results and he is always in everyone's top 3 in the world, and if I'm going to do something for me I want the best possible. I live in Florida and I. Flying across the world for god sakes! Lol Feel free to shoot any questions or what not as I will be happy to give as much support as possible! Will post before and after shots soon
