  1. Hopefully your hairs shed. You really want them to shed and then follow up with vigorous growth. Best of luck

they all shed within 3 weeks, I was surprised to see stubble already most of them have not started sprouting yet, I can see about 60 stuble hairs.

  2. That's great. How many grafts were in your first procedure?

my first ever procedure was back in 2000, mini micro graphs at a clinic in montreal dr.prescott, they told me 1000 grafts but i suspect it was less and i was not happy with my 6 month result at all, so they performed another strip 1 year after the first strip about 600.. it looked fuller and was ok.. in my late 30s more thinning around front and looked really pluggy without my native hairs to camofaouge, My scar was much more noticeable before Im very happy with this tricho closure, impressive stuff.:)

  3. sounds like you need to do more research, you do not want to be in the wrong hands with this procedure.. there is nothing worse then going through all of this and then having an unsatisfactory or even worse regrettable outcome, and im speaking from past experience.. have consultations with docs recommended here, I saw dr. Rahal in Ottawa last month for my ht.There was a young man from australia getting his done there as well so dont let proximity affect your decision on a doc. best of luck

  4. @alaw19 Even i am NW2, had a consultation with Rahal, he said stick on medicines and later he will fix my hairline. At present medicines are doing good job for me. I personally would opt for FUT coz its more economical, but if you willing to shell out some more money then go for FUE

    Good luck!

I wish I had known about Rahal 14 years ago when I started with this experience.

  5. One things is for sure and only a few people really get it, most just go off to a doc or a rep and rush into surgery within months of being on these sites thinking they are in safe hands or that they found the person they could trust.

In the case of hair transplants you have to find the strength to use your logic not your emotions. It really shouldn't matter what Joe was saying about FUE if people use patience in order to be better educated. Stay on the forums and research, go meet doctors and listen don't rush in!

After all no matter what... the truth is simple and logic dictates the truth. Reps work for a doctor they sell HIS procedure. You can't go to an Apple store and the salesmen there tell you its better to buy an android phone in your case. You don't go to an Audi dealership and salesmen tell you BMW's model in this category is better!

So why oh why we have maintained this illusion in the hair transplant industry that the reps are your consultants on whats best for you? I am sure none of them wants to see you fail or have a bad result but in the end of the day they work for someone! Use them to your benefit by talking with them cause you will learn much but STOP idolising them and trusting them blindly!

Trust yourself by taking the time to educate yourself! This industry is full of surprises and if you stay long enough circumstances will arise where the curtains will fall so you can get a clearer look on whats hidden behind! No one can fool you forever...

    Bravo!!

  6. 2 weeks, front, mid growing looking good, scabs gone. Is it possible to avoid losing the hairs entirely avoiding the ?gly duckling`stage of process? Donor area Shockloss underneath sutures, no biggie seems rather common. recipient no shock loss at all....yet.
