  1. I have no idea... Anyway it would allow people to make their choices if about to make a move for surgery.
  2. Yeah, as soon as you're not a potential customer any more, you're no one, not even a patient...I'm really puzzled about how promoted this Dr is, and poor the result was... I would really not recommend anyone to him. Eventually, not only, I had little graft regrowth, but potentially I got some pre-existing hair damaged, a slightly painful and wide scar, 2900 grafts in less from my donor zone that were spoilt, and at last no help or compensation from him whatsoever. That is so disproportionate with his fame, so people beware of the internet and fake promotion!
  3. Ok since I haven't heard from the surgeon or his clinic, I can now tell his name: Dr Ar*ind Po*wal (India) also known as Dr A's performed the surgery, and wasn't willing to accommodate me. Dr Arv ind Pos wal did some of the openings for the grafts and his staff did the rest. Up to now, the FUT procedure left me a scar that remains painful at times and that is far above (at least on the sides above the ears) the promised "state of the art” result for wound closure of 1-2 mm. I can even feel it by touch on the sides (above the ears)…The only area where I can tell grafts regrew are the gulfs but given it was most densely transplanted area, the yield is really poor.
  4. I sent the surgeon an email to negotiate with him, with no reply yet from him (we exchanged a few emails yet). I expect nothing new from him but to repeat that my poor result would be due to a progressive alopecia. Let's wait another extra days and then I'll give the name of the surgeon and his clinic unless he gets back to me with a compromise. It is for soon, you'll know his name and that's officially a renown surgeon at least on the internet.
  5. Yes, I haven't seen them regrow either... I'll reveal the surgeon name soon, this latter argues that native hair loss (whereas my hair loss was quite stabilized) only within a course of a year (preop/post timeline) accounted for the poor result when 2900 follicles were grafted!!! You can't get bolder (or roughly the same amount of hair) after surgery unless the intervention was a failure...That's insanely dishonest to me...
  6. I share your thoughts concerning the yield...Thank you for your feedback
  7. Unfortunately, I can't tell the name of the surgeon yet, but I'll do it most likely soon.
  8. Oh absolutely I agree with this, but would you attribute the final result to a progressive alopecia parallel to the graft regrowth?
  9. Thank you for your reply, his thoughts are that the alopecia is fully responsible for the result even taking into account the 2900 grafts. Wouldn't you think that in any case I should have more hair after than before surgery? Cheers.
  10. Actually I sporadically used rogaine but anyway I don't believe my natural hair loss could explain this progression given that my hair loss was stabilized before the intervention and still is today. Besides as you said: "2900 grafts should have made a significant improvement regardless of the amount of continued natural hair loss" since hair loss (which is progressive and usually slow) cannot account for the negative outcome as no one has less hair after an operation when considered successful, even with a continued hair loss.
  11. thank you for your reply, I would agree with you, indeed in my view I have less hair than before. Is this possible if the intervention knowing my hair loss was quite stabilized before? I don't know of anyone in that case unless the intervention was a failure...
  12. thank you for your reply, I totally agree, would you think this is worse?
  13. Dear Hair loss community, I wanted to share my experience but also to have a feedback from you concerning my FUT procedure of 2900 grafts from November 2012. The picture on the left is pre-operative and the one on the right is 12 months post-operative. I'll provide more pictures in a couple of months as I don't currently have them at reach. Please do not hesitate to share your thoughts on that, Cheers
