  1. Thanks for all of the input. I will definitely look up some surgeons in turkey, Anyone in particular I should look for ?
  2. Hey, thank you for all of your input. I am doing research and there very well might be good doctors / physicians over there. How much can I trust a physician if he/she is a member of the international hair restoration society? Would this indicate that he/she is a bit more serious than others etc... I will obviously book a few consultations when I get there to get a feel for how the clinic operates etc... Before I make a decision but would like to hear your thoughts before I pick a few differrent clinics to consult with. This is what I have found while doing my research https://www.ishrs.org/users/draliabbasi Some information about this doctor: Informational Paragraph: Doctor Ali Abbasi, M.D is a board certified Dermatologist and American board hair restoration surgery certified, specializing in practice of hair restoration surgery and he is a full time hair transplant practitioner and has done more than 1500 hair transplantation surgeries since 1993 . He has attended clinical courses in hair transplantation surgery in England, Austria, Germany, France, Canada and America during these years has always been in close contact with the academic centers in Iran and other countries. His current practice almost exclusively utilizes follicular unit transplanting and using stereomicroscope microscopes combined with dense packing at a rate of 35-45 grafts per Sq. cm. Dr. Abbasi works with an experienced team consisting of an anesthetist and 10 surgical technicians specially trained for hair transplantation surgery. His clinic has been designed and equipped in a way to provide safety and comfort for the patients. Doctor Abbasi attends scientific congresses on hair transplantation surgery held annually in different countries in order to update his knowledge and use the last techniques introduced by the researchers. Mutually he has done studies and research in this field and has presented them in these congresses. He has authored multiple articles in medical journals and lectured about his surgical method, and hair transplant researches in many Iranian universities and in scientific meetings in the world and held many live workshops in Tehran and Iran medical university for other physicians interested in hair transplants. Thank you everyone for taking the time to share your thoughts This guy seems pretty legit.
  3. Thank you for the reply. Well I live in Sweden but I am visiting family in Iran and thought I would go ahead and do the transplant while I am there. It is a lot cheaper there ( prices are similar to Turkey and India)
  4. Hi guys. I am traveling to Iran (tehran) in march to do a hair transplantation (fue / fit method) but I am not sure which clinic to go to since I've heard a lot of good and bad from a lot of the clinics over there. I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything useful. Can somebody please point me in the right direction. I read the forum posts on "how to pick a clinic" etc ... but I am looking for users that have done their transplants in one of these clinics in Iran and can share their experiences. Thank you!
