  1. Yeah FUE can leave a weird sensation on the scalp. But as far as i know, it isnt permanent and people i talked to who have had it have said things like weeks to months for that feeling to go away. i guess its person dependent like everything else in medicine.good luck! PS if anyone else has feedback on scalp sensation changes after fue, would love to hear and learn about it.
  2. I am a big fan of going with what you are comfortable with FUE or FUT. What really matters is you choose a doc that does what you want as a regular practice. So if you want FUT go to a place that does a lot of FUT with a lot of history. And the same for FUE. Make sure you choose a place with experience and options. Some good fue docs are not good fut docs and vice versa.
  3. If you are in Houston you should talk to at least 2 doctors of the kind of transplant you want. If you want a strip you should consider Dr. Barrera as at least one of them. If you are willing to drive for a strip surgery, Dr Limmer is another one. Dr. Limmer is also good because his prices are down to earth. Proof that a good trans does NOT have to be expensive. If you are considering FUE, you should choose a place that really has a lot of options in FUE. I think FUE is a lot harder on the team so my thought is if you go FUE, make sure its really an FUE place and not an menu list of X Y Z cosmetic list options ....and oh yeah FUE. Watch out for doctors that talk down other doctors. No one has perfect results so that is another warning sign i.e the high and mighty sign is what i call it.
  4. Thanks all for the posts! Can someone do all the grafts in one visit with fue i.e 5000 graft session?
