  1. Happy growing!! Im looking forward to see the results
  2. He could not figure out how to send or read PM, we're communicating on Skype now. I really don't see whats the big fuss about.
  3. 12 pages in English but 4 posts in my native language just to help out an Italian guy like me that does not speak english well, and you're already complaining? Chill out.
  4. hey ciao caro, aggiungimi su skype (contatto: warcaesar) oppure ti lascio il mio numero se preferisci parlare a voce
  5. I understand what you're saying, and yes you are right... the fact is, I put a lot of feelings in my hair. I am very young (25 years old now), started losing hair badly since the age of 17-18 which caused me a lot of social anxiety, depression (been on Zoloft and Xanax for 5 years) and so much self conciousness that I ended up locking myself at home afraid to go out because I was afraid to be made fun of because of my baldness, when around me all my mates (18-24yo) were full of hair. You can understand how much a HT meant to me, and how much now I feel overcome with joy when I look at myself to the mirror and I see my head like its meant to be at my age. When I'll be older I won't care if I will lose my hair again, I understand its easier to accept it when you start being old (50-60 etc) but I am in my 20s, I do not want to look older than my age and I do not want to be made fun of because of baldness. And the money I had available (its hard to save money when you're a full time student) were not enough for many doctors in Europe/USA/Canada and even Turkey, but Dr. Maral was affordable for me. And not only his FUE was affordable for my pockets, but it ended up being a really great result and honestly guys I am sorry if I sound too... happy that might almost look unreal, but the years I've spent locking myself at home afraid to go out because of my baldness... yeah, the joy today cannot even be explained in words.
  6. Oh yeah, they will never show up, I know that. Being anonymous on the interner is just too easy nowdays. That's why I'm pushing my photos so much and Im willing to show up on a webcam, in a bright room (or outside during a sunny day), with my face exposed, talking on a microphone. Because I am comfortable with myself, with my great result so far which I coulndn't be happier about, and I have nothing to hide. Trolls come and trolls go, its always hilarious to see how they never dare to reply or to add me on Skype to see with their own eyes. I guess truth hurts.
  7. Here's my private message to mister charlieboy, I decided to make it public since I feel like I have absolutely nothing to hide and the more I can share about my wonderful experience with Dr. Maral, the more I can help people out there seeking for a good quality and good priced FUE. Also, moderators and Forum Managers are already getting informed about the constant trolling and bashing. [Edit] Notice my professional graphic skills there on that screenshot edit. Windows Paint ftw!
  8. Hey there John thanks for your reply! I am aware I'll never get back the same hair density I had when I was 14-16years old, and I am perfectly fine with that. Time changes our bodies, and testosterone affects the quality of our hair follicles. I am very happy taht so far you're satisfied with your result! Personal satisfation is the most important thing ever. I did not buy a Maserati or a Ferrari, I bought a good car and for the price I payed I coulnd't be happier. If I wanted a Ferrari or a Maserati I would have gone to Wong or to the top world surgeons, paying 30-40-50 thousand dollars. I payed 1700 Euro. I got hair on my head that I can style, comb, and that everyone is complimenting me day after day. I stopped feeling social anxiety worrying about my aspect and now when I hang out with my buddies I feel like my head is fine for a 25 years old guy. But this is the internet and jealous people are right behind every corner. I sleep so well at night with my new hair that I have no words to describe how happy I am. Just a reminder to everyone: contact me in private to have my Skype name and we can webcam or videochat and talk about how great my result has been so far.
  9. hey home1212, you can see the photos previous to my HT on my updated thread http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/173845-my-3500grafts-fue-dr-maral-istanbul-12.html#post2408228 pictures are fresh fresh taken today! the pre-op pics were taken by myself (the bathroom one) and Dr. Maral (the one with the white background)
  10. Hello erik105, I am a patient of Dr. Maral, I had a FUE with him in february and my final transplated graft was 3500. Today I am at month 8 of my post-HT development and I coulnt be happier about my hair. I took some pictures of my hairline and here you go, sharing them with you. Dr.Maral is really great about drawing your future restored hairline, he usually keeps it a bit higher/conservating knowing that the hair loss might continue in the upcoming years so he tends to avoid a very low/aggressive hairline, but in my opinion thats the wisest choice.
  11. Well, all this talking about hair made me take some pictures today. Photos have been taken with bathroom light on directly on the top of the head and the window was open. Unfortunately weather has been quite horrid the past few days here in Northern Italy. I am at MONTH 8, 3500 grafts PRE HT January 2014, photo taken by Dr. Maral before the operation Photo taken by me a couple of months before going to Dr. Maral Like I have said, I couldn't be happier. This is only month 8, I am still waiting for the full density to show up but every day its improving and enhancing.
  12. Hey Tyro thanks for your reply. To anyone concerning Dr. Maral, this week end I'll be available on Skype to answer all your questions and if you even want to webcam chat you will be able to see with your own eyes the results. Just let me know in private message and we can exchange the skype details. As promised will be posting pictures very soon, once I hit month 9-10. People in my daily life that know about my HT are complimenting me every day and those who don't would have never guessed.
  13. Impressive results man. The thickness improvement between month 6 and month 18 is... beyond my imagining. To everyone bashing Dr. Maral, this patient went from having absolutely nothing to having nice, thick hair to comb. Check your judgements next time.
  14. Hey everyone, thanks Fred for updating this thread since I actually forgot to do it. Its been a busy period between my job and my university classes. So, I'm at month 8 and so far its been GREAT. The hair keep growing, thicking, I don't know if I could be happier. I think I'm at 70-80% of the final result so I was actually thinking to wait til month 9-10 before posting pictures. I went to a new hairdresser/barber last thursday since I had to cut them for a friend's wedding ceremony and the hairdresser didn't ask about my hair until when, after the cut, I told him it was transplanted hair. His face was priceless. I can't believe people can't tell the difference. My donor area is in great shape, no itching and nothing noticeable. The receiving area sometimes is a bit itchy but also I have to admit I touch it a lot and sometimes also with dirty hands, I scratch it, etc etc which may lead to this itching I get sometimes. Hair are around 4cm long now and the thickness is improving week after week. Somehow the right side is a little bit thicker than the left side, its also true my right side had less hair loss compared to the left side. So that's interesting. Also, it's fall season and I've been losing some hair (see them in the sink, or find them on the pillow in the morning) but no more than... 20-30 per day. Sure I notice them but it makes sense since in fall we all have the seasonal effluvim. So yeah, I'm happy and I think that's all that matters. I love my new hair, I love not having to worry about them anymore, I love feeling normal once again when I hang out with my 20-25yo friends and none of them has suffered any balding. I feel comfortable with myself and there's no price I wouldnt have paid for that. I will take more pics and update the thread again after 9 months so we can compare the pre-HT pics and the 9th month pics for a very effective comparison. Also, I've noticed there's still a huge shitstorm about Dr. Maral. Bah, whatever. Honestly I couldn't be happier. Take care everyone and remember if you have any question feel free to message me in private, I can give you my skype name and we can also videochat or something, no problem!
  15. Hi Jimmy and sorry for my late reply, yeah I will consider Dr. Maral for a 2nd HT in case my density won't be satisfying but so far its been great. Lowering the hairline is a good idea but it also depends how's your face shape, I think I would look kinda weird with a very low hairline. Maybe because I've always had a wide forehead and a high hairline? I don't know How's your growth going on?
  16. UPDATE: I have noticed a couple of very short hair poking out from the scalp which havent grew in weeks. So today I took a twizzer and i pulled them out. They made absolutely no resistence and the end was hook-shaped, with no bulb or anything. Are these dead grafts? Or just dead hair? Its not many of them (i counted 7) but now I'm worried. (probably overreacting)
  17. Hi Setkaro, as the other forum friends already said, you can contact Dr. Maral directly on Sa? Ekimi Merkezi, Fiyatlar and fill the form sending your hair pics and describing your situation. The doctor will get back to you and eventually ask you more info/pics and schedule your appointment
  18. Thank you john... Overthinking (and overworrying) is bad sometimes. I shall remind myself that more often.
  19. Today I hit 5 months post OP. What could I say? The growth keeps increasing, there was a MASSIVE improvement between month 3 and late month 4, I hope it will continue this way. The hair are thickening but some are still a bit curly. Looks like there's more coming out on the left side rather than the right side, I wonder if its normal and it will even out. Anyone else noticed this as well? What should I expect from month 5 to 7-8? Pics below: Pre trim Post trim:
  20. Thanks for your reply Fred I am going to post a reply at month 5 with photos update, but so far its been great. However I will admit that, at least to me, the growth is a little slower... or maybe its because I check my hair every hour? I still believe in more growth Yeah the hair are definitely growing at different rates and some of them are a bit curly, which is weird since my hair were always straight
  21. I forgot to add: the transplanted hair in the recipient area don't grow all together at the same growth rate. Some are longer and some shorter (some are still poking out) so I have to even them out using a electric razorblade. Not sure if they're supposed to be that way but.. ok I guess? hahah
