Very briefly, I'm 33 years old and have been losing my hair since my late teens.
It has genuinely never really bothered me; I've had my hair trimmed short for the past 12 years+. Although to be fair I think it started at a grade 5 and of late is always down to 0.5.
Back in Nov 2008, for no real reason I can recall I thought that actually it would be good to have hair again.
So started my trawling through the various forums / websites. I read about a company called 'court house clinics' in Men's Health magazine and arranged a consultation. This led to more research and contact with people who have been through the process, some with great stories and results, others, not so much.
So eventually I decided on Dr Feller and managed to get a date of 27th Jan 2009. I paid up front 4100+ grafts, which was a killer considering the current exchange rate of 1.33!
I arrived on the 26th, had my surgery yesterday on the 27th and am due to fly back home to London this afternoon.
I had 4039 grafts, covering the majority of my bald head, I extremely pleased with the result.
I told Dr Feller that I wanted to comb my hair forward so we agreed to have him place a greater concentration toward the top and back of my scalp, which he did.
I think Dr Feller will post some photos on my behalf and I will take more back home as the months go by.
