  1. Thanks fellas, maybe I Am being overly critical. I have come along way since my pre op pics. If you search "finally bit the bullet" you can see my journey. Currently I have to wear my hair straight down or people's eyes go straight to my hairline and I feel uncomfortable. So I think a second transplant would help with that? Also how many grafts would y'all recommend? Some docs that I have looked at, do a minimum of 1000 grafts. Yes, this is my right temple and the left temple looks very similar.

  2. Ok thank you for that info. When you say baby steps, do you mean one area at a time? Or small amount of graphs, spread out. I haven't seen any doctors about this yet. In my opinion I wanted to add 1000 grafts to the hairline, and if possible, some grafts to my forelock. I'm know Doctor, and a amateur at this. I've been thru one transplant but would like to make my second, my last transplant. If possible

  3. Hey, I had a transplant a couple years ago with a respectable recommended doctor, however im not happy with the density at all. The transplant he did, turned out great, just not dense enough. I have contacted his office to try and get a appointment but haven't received any call backs. I'm wondering, would it be a bad decision to go with another doctor, just to add density. I was considering dr. vories. what do yall think? You can see pics of my first transplant with dr cooley, if you search, "finally bit the bullet". Thanks

  4. well it has been a year, although im better off than I was before, i don't feel like my results are what i was hoping for. maybe my expectations were a little too high. In no way, am i trying to impugn Dr. Cooley's work. He does great work, and produces some of the top work on this forum.

I think its my hair characteristics. I know it can take up to 18 months to see the full result. I can see a few hairs in my hairline, that haven't grown at all. They look like they did, two days after the transplant. Hopefully they are just being stubborn. I will make a appointment with Dr. Cooley in a few months if they don't start growing and let yall know what he thinks.

The last pic, is about two months after my transplant. What do yall think?

  5. things are looking better. a lot of the hair are still very thin and curly. straight out of the shower, not combed, I look like a walking pubic hair.lol too much info;) my barber knows that I had a transplant and he said, "where the hell did they take the hair from off your body?" I took some pics to show this. hopefully it straightens out soon and thickens up.

  6. Just a random question...Do you think transplant doctors would lie about graft numbers? What I mean is, some doctors show awesome results with minimal number of grafts.

Do you think the patient actually received what the doctor is stating just to make their results appear better than others? For example, a doctor posts a nice result stating the patient received 2000 grafts but in reality the doctor gave them 2500 free of charge without stating so. Not that this would be a bad thing (for the patient). Just think it would be false advertising.
