  1. Hi everyone, I'd like to know if taking Prednisone (corticoid) for just 5 days (60mg per day) can eventually produce some hair loss.
  2. THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR ANSWEAR, MAN... (By the way, i meaned as you say "buzz down" not shaving... My english is not good enough...) 2 things: a) I started buzzing down carefully at 2nd week when i hadn't got any scab and my skin was healed. Delicated but healed. And very carefully, and more milimetres, I mean, not so close to skin. But I never push machine strongly even if I razor at 2 mm. Always with care and quickly to not get hot there or smth. Was it ok by then? I'm pretty sure that's ok now (5th week), but was it then? b) 2-6 mm of size (depending on the zone. You know, surrounding hairs shorter) is it ok? It looks good but i was concerned cos of it's maybe too short and it could be ?some hot? in zones where you have telogen-thinning hairs, but i've said no burn at all. I'm not so dumb to push very much machine against skin, I'm soft. You know, Does it have any to do with sun exposure? the hot or something. Maybe you don't have eyebrow HT but you have a normal hair transplant in the head and your experience could be much more the same for me though it's not the same kind of skin. My doc is very good one but he's on vacation now and and a threat is a threat... Thanks a lot, I apreciate answears A LOT.
  3. I had a succesful eyebrow restoration. After 2 weeks I didn?t have any scab and my skin looked healed enough. The shedding and the pinky skin is more noticiable now that I?m in my 5th week after transplant. My thread is this one: When can I start to buzz (3-6mm.) my eyebrows after procedure? Once that I hadn?t scabs (2-3 weeks post-op), is it OK to buzz carefully and in the right direction my eyebrows to groom them or does it represent any problem? I feel better with short hair there (4mm.) because it looks more uniform and it?s better for shampooing. My telogeon hairs are now thinning and I preffer them short. At my first time I let my hairs long enough but I repeated once every week and now I use to let the hairs a little bit shorter than before since I don?t apreciate anything wrong. I didn?t pull out any hair and my grafts are Ok since 10 days post-op. My only concern, maybe, is that, sometimes the shaving-machine overheats a little bit so I try not to overheat the zone, but it takes a few seconds and I do carefully, but I read about sun exposure and I?m worried about if some hot is bad. Of course, I didn?t have any burn or something like that. I just say that maybe when i put the machine in the surrounding hairs, more close to the skin and it is about 90?F for a few seconds and not pushing strongly to the skin, the other way round. Is that a problem?? Because no one tells you how and when you can trim your hairs, and I find that scissors are more complicated to use (size hair, pull out hairs, time...). I would appreciate an answear very much.
