  1. So if I don't take propecia/finasteride my chances of stabilizing my hair loss is very slim? What if I don't want to take propecia, thats where am at right now thinking ahead. I see your guys logic, why get ht when i'll just keep losing hair, I understand that.
  2. Think I may jump right into a HT. I won't have the risk of putting any chemicals into my body, no offense to anyone who chooses to, I dont think I have it in me to commit to a pill for ever. I may do minox, nizoral, laser hair therapy, and a ht. More then likely what ever they suggest besides for taking meds orally. I'm still looking into my options and what will work best for me.
  3. Think they are taking a high mg? When people talk about permanent sides it tends to get my attention. I would hate to fall in that category
  4. Hi Dr. Glenn, I'm busy every week all day up till 6pm so its tough getting into a doctors office to receive laser therapy, the only way I would be able to is on a Saturday, if I needed it more often do you recommend any laser-combs or do you only suggest the low level laser therapy offered at a doctors office? thanks for your time
  5. Thanks, long reply is cool with me, best reply I've had yet asking other sources also. Thanks for your suggestions, its great info to go along with further research. Should I see a doctor who specializes in hair loss or my local doctor? I actually just moved to a new area so I need to get another doctor.
  6. I'm looking to save it and regrow in the obvious spots, I noticed my hair getting thin on the crown and the sides of the hair line at the front about 3 years ago. I didn't think any products actually worked and I'm finding out now that some do. I honestly didn't think it was going to get this bad and also didn't care that much either till now. I don't like taking medication, I'm a health nut.. so when I see the horror stories on people having heart complication on propecia I'm thinking oh great, another thing is having to take these all the time and if you stop your hair could potentially lose what ever it has gained, so taking propecia my whole life.. shew I dunno if I could do that. I did see a little bit on the lasercomb, not sure how well that works but throwing my options out there. I may go get a free exam done but thats also another thing, choosing the right doctor because Im sure if I go to a doctor who specializes in a surgery method thats what hes going to push for. So what do you guys think from what you have seen, do I have a chance to save this and try to grow some back or should I say screw it. There is baldness on my moms side her dad is bald. I post pics with hair wet and somewhat dry. Also I don't know all of the special terms you guys use yet. Thanks for chiming in
