I had my ht 2 years ago at Medicana Istanbul with Dr Acar and I am absolutely delighted with the results. My advise would be not to panic and be very patient. As the months slowly passed the results just got better. Your photos show that you have the spray on cooling cream and the soreness at the back is exactly how mine looked straight after the op, even making me worry at the time that I was going to have bald patches at the back. Almost 2 years later, I have no regrets and personally I highly recommend Medicana. The responses you have received from the team in Istanbul can be a little odd I believe due to the language problem. My experience over in Istanbul is that not that many are comfortable with the English language. The upside is that the treatment, the hospitality, the result and the price is fantastic. Have faith, your hair will come.

Medical Park Hospital in Istanbul. I feel pleased with their work although I am only nearly 3 months since the transplant. At the moment things look a little sparse but I can see new hairs coming through so I am keeping confident.

I want to use clippers but oddly enough I was told not to after my transplant for 12 months! Only scissor cuts until then. Never thought at the time to ask why.

Hi stinger99, I never asked and I wasn't told but I would hope that perhaps I could return in the future for a small number. The honest answer though is that I don't know.

Hi Cloudy, just uploaded some photos. It's difficult to see much progress after only 2 weeks but I am really happy so far. Photos are not the best due to the flash, but watch this space, as you know the progress takes months.

2 weeks ago I had a fue hair transplant at the Medical Park Hospital in Istanbul. A small team using the motorized system transplanted 4000 grafts and the operation took about 10 hours in total. I am delighted with their work, lovely people, very professional and the price was fantastic. Highly recommended. Very well looked after, oh yes and Turkish airlines were excellent too.
