    I had a FUT procedure last friday, 2500+ grafts. The first week has gone well. No swelling and very little redness. As of this moment no loss of the transplanted hair. I am sure it will start to fall out soon.

     

    I go back in for a follow up this coming Monday. I will keep everyone updated

    Has anyone used Washington Medical in Rockville, Md. I have posted before however I tought I would try again. Any good or bad experiences out there? Thanks

    It is common for hair transplant technicians to soley preform the transplant procedure? I have been told that the doctors preform the surgical portion and are in and out of room during the procedure. The transplant technicians handle the slits and placing of the hairs. Can anyone add anything or shed any light onto this?

    Thanks Tommy, I did find another thread with a little more info on them. It has mixed reviews. I actually spoke with someone that had used them and was very very happy with his procedure. This puts me in a tough position and I appreciate your input. At this point I am in no rush and will move forward cautiously.

    I too have consulted with Washington Medical Hair Clinic in Rockville, Md on a FUT procedure of 2500 grafts and am seriously considering moving forward. I am thinning on the top and would like to disguise the procedure in thinning area. Can anyone offer and infromation on Washington Hair, good or bad? They seem very professional and I was pleased with my consulation. Below are my concerns. Can anyone write to these concerns? I am planning on taking 10 days off from work, having the procedure done on a Friday and taking the following week off. Will the scabbing and redness be gone in 10 days? Will it be noticable 10 days post op? How do they close the donor area? Staples or Stitiches? I too am looking for a discreet scar. I do wear my hair longer in the back and sides. I was told Ihave a good donor area so I'm assuming good scar coverage. Can anyone speak to the results 6-12 months post-op? Thanks !
