  1. Today is exactly 2 months since my HT with Dr. Konior. At this point all my existing hair has grown out. One of the advantages of being in the hands of a skill surgeon is that your shock loss is minimized to it's maximum.

Growth: I do see some transplanted hair sprouting especially along the hair line. I am sure they are sprouting in the scalp too but since they are really minute it's hard to see them.

Scar: Scar is healing well but there is still some redness. I used Dermimatch to hide it in the first month but it doesn't bother me anymore and I have stopped using it.

I am attaching pictures of PreOp, Immediate PostOp and taken today.

  2. Hair Needed, everything is looking good. Your hair seems to be of pretty good caliber, also the skin to hair contrast is great. This means that you can get good visual density with less number of grafts as compared to someone who has really thin hair and skin to hair contrast is not that great.

Just a suggestion, I think you should buzz your sides short to match with the top of your hair. I think it will be a much better look

  3. Hey stinger 99,If you think a receding hairline looks good on a man.Why are you even on a hair loss forum mate?I was trying to be positive and show an example of someone that can shrug off a receding hairline and do well in life.

Hairline is only an iota of what women want in a man. Look at Seal(Not the best looking dude out there) and Spanker mentions above Bruce Willis.

There is a lot more to life than a good hairline and a head full of hair. Basically women like confident men. Hair or not. Good looks and Hair just increases your chances by a small percent.

I know you tried to give a positive example by saying balding men have hope. But this dude probably has a lot more going on for him that just a receding hairline.

  4. Any updates? I feel this is the first truly candid konior posting. Where every step is being shown, even the ugly steps. Thanks for this...hoping for an update

I am not sure if it is just me or is anyone else is noticing this pattern. Jinglealltheway is digging out all Konior related postings and making some unpleasant comments.

Jinglealltheway do you have any hidden agenda?

  5. Threads like this are useless without photos. Can you just take some pics with your hone? In this day and age everyone has access to a camera. Glad you're happy with your results, but for the rest of us, testimonials without photos don't help.

Dude you need to relax. You don't have any information about your hairloss in your profile either. So don't preach something that you don't practice.

  6. OP, based on these photos looks like you've suffered some real shock loss. You are only 1 month out, so not the best time to judge the resuls. Happy growth

Jingleall the way. I will try to post the Pictures of the scar as promised. It's harder to take the scar pics by yourself.

About the shockloss, I think I haven't experienced much shockloss. Others can chime in too.

If you compare my one month post-op pictures to my Pre-Op photos, you should be able to see that all my existing hair is coming back gradually, given the fact it was shaved down, I think it's a pretty good progress.

  7. But I dont know people keep talking here that if Hairline designing was a important criteria Bhatti would not be on top of that list. Having said this the same people also say his hairline no way look Artifical or un-natural or pluggy as they call it. so what is the grouse here then ? I fail to understand !!

Not to hijack this thread. If you are looking for FUE in India then Bhatti is your best bet. Take it or leave it. You have limited choices unless you want to venture out of the country.

When they say, he is not the best they he is being compared to rest of the world. That doesn't mean he doesn't do a quality job. For almost half the price as compared to some of the leading surgeons, he does a pretty good job.

  8. Hi All,

Just wanted to give an update to everyone on my progress. Today is exactly 4 weeks since my HT and I must say that I have been healing pretty well so far. I guess I can attribute that to good surgeon, following post op instructions as closely as possible, healthy diet and post op medicine regime.(http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/170695-post-hair-transplant-meds-regime.html)

I started work two weeks ago and I haven't had anyone ask me about my HT. I just buzzed my hair short and kept my hair little longer over the scar. My barber did a pretty good job so I will have to give credit it to him. If anyone is seeking a good barber in Chicago, checkout Hair Mechanic in Wicker Park.

I have stopped looking into the mirror as much. After a certain point you just don't care.

I haven't started working out yet. I am planning to slowly ease into it starting tomorrow. I still fell some tightness at the back of my head from time to time.

    Advice to future HT seekers:

    1) Try to take off at least two weeks from work. First two weeks will be painful with swelling, pains from staples. After two weeks once your sutures and staples are out you will feel much, much better

    2) After two weeks once your sutures, staples are removed, buzz you hair short and use DermiMatch to blend in the scar with your hair color and you will be fine.

    3) Get a 'I don't give a $%#@' attitude about how your hair looks like when you go out. Because you know in next 6 months you will look much better

    I am attaching my pictures:

    Graft Break Down:

    Total:3516

    1119 singles,

    1959 doubles

    438 triples.

*Note: Somehow the PDF I uploaded is not view-able. Any ideas, what might be going on?

  9. Hello Everyone! I have read different reviews and decided to drop some lines either.

This January I had done the procedure called strand by strand cosmetic at Advanced Hair Studio, and I’m highly satisfied and happy with this treatment’s performance. It was done in a very professional and impressive way.

All people I know in my life have appreciated what they see, because they see how my confidence has improved. Me myself is extremely happy with the outcome hence I already recommended studio procedure to one of my friend’s wife and now she is doing laser therapy.

    All the best to everybody,

    Mr. Sharma

Sharma can you post before and after pictures?

  10. Hi All I just had my HT not too long ago(Completing three weeks this weekend)

I was not on any meds before the HT. After the HT I am on the following regime. Let me know if it's good or I need to tweak it?

    Finastride .25 mg daily

    Revita Shampoo - MWF

    Head & Shoulders - Tue-Th-Sat-Sun

    Rogaine Foam Twice Daily

    Biotin Daily

Also If anyone is following a similar regime, how have your results been so far?

  11. I am in a similar situation...never tried any non surgical before my HT Surgery but now I am on Fin, Rogaine, and also taking biotin as well as using the Revita shampoo.

Has anyone been in this situation before? If 'yes' then what were your results like?
