Thanks Since21 and Matt. Yes a very balanced outcome indeed.

Looking good Matt. Right on track at 3 months. I just looked at my three month pics and it looked pretty much same as yours. Also when I met Konior last month he said that you know more about hair than anyone else. You are a hair nerd!
-
It's been 7 Months and I think at this point I have peaked and probably expect very minimal growth. But nonetheless I am very content with the progress and wish everyone else a speedy growth.
Looking back at my pictures I can see how far I have come in 7 months. I am going to make a collage and post it here. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks for the kind word guys. The advise, information and the support that this forum provides is very valuable.
I am very satisfied with my progress at this point. Dr K. and his staff have superseded my expectations in every possible way.

Coming along well Hairlcome and a lot more to come yet.
Thanks Mate!. Yeah it's been an exciting journey so far.

I am at Month 5 and I think I have stopped looking in the Mirror as much as I did in Months 1,2,3 and 4. HT has taken a back seat now. I attribute this to the satisfactory result that I am seeing so far.
Dr. Konior's office made a courtesy follow up call to check how things were going. I told them that things looked great.
Here are some pictures from Month 5 along with Month 1,2,3,and 4 for comparison.

Congrats Mike!...Stellar Results. I echo everyone else's comments.

Interesting. Looks like a strong forelock is crucial to getting a good result. Perhaps Surgeons could focus on creating a dense forelok when they're covering a large area.
Yeah strong forelock certainly helps. I had a strong forelock prior to the HT. That helped in more graft distribution to other parts of the scalp, another thing that helped with the graft distribution was that Dr. Konior and I decided not lower the hairline.

Looking really good for 4 months! Konior is the man.
How often did you wear a hat during the earlier months in summer?
/QUOTE]
Hey man,
I must have worn a hat maybe 3-4 times in summer. This year the summer in Chicago was not as hot. I tried to stay out of sun as much as I could. I was warned by Dr. Koniors office not to get a Sun Burn, although regular sun exposure was fine.
So if you are going to expose yourself to sun for a long period of time then wearing a hat would be a good idea.
-
That is fantastic growth for only 4 months. Dr Konior is a great surgeon I'm sure you will get a stellar result
Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah I am pleased with the results so far, and hoping to get atleast 70% of what you have.
-
Dr. Konior, you couldn't have chosen a better person for the job. I like Spankers no nonsense style of shooting from the hip and keeping it real.
Plus him being the most interesting man in the world doesn't hurt either.

Magnum as you can see from my pictures the scar is hardly visible with a #3 clipper. So I don't have to worry about concealing or hiding it. During the first month I used DermiMatch but after that I did not use anything to conceal it.
-
Can't believe it's already been 4 months. Summer is almost over and I have more hair than I have ever had in last couple of years.
Everything seems to be on track so far. I have started to workout hard and heavy and don't feel any weird sensations in the donor area.
Attaching 4 months pictures. Any feedback, comments or questions are welcome.
I am pretty pleased with the results so far.
Just to test the waters what people think. Couple of weeks ago, I asked one of my friends(who doesn't know I had an HT), we haven't seen each other in a year, if I should get a hair transplant? His response was no, for now your hair looks fine. It's little bit thin but you definitely don't need one right now. I don't know what he is going to say when he sees me after another 6 months.
-
Congrats on this new chapter in your life. Wish you all the best. Work looks neat and clean. As far as the discomfort, I think most people go through it unless your scalp is stetchy like rubber. Like Eman says, you will feel much better once the sutures are out. That pain will be worth it in the long run .
-
Asiandude Why don't you put some pictures up? (PreOp, PostOP, 3 Months and 6 Months). I think some knowledgeable people like Spanker, Nick, Matt or AgentEye can chime in on the progress of the growth.
-
Congrats Mate!. This journey has begun and I am excited for you. Will be watching this space for further updates.
-
Thanks all,
Yes there is definitely some early growth.
Does anyone have a link to the post that talks about time vs %growth?
-
Call me crazy, but it looks much more dense now than before surgery.. Early growth??
Hey Nick, I agree with you, it does look a bit denser than before and I am seeing some early growth.
-
Looks like you have had a seamless recovery and it will be all positive from now on.
Looking forward to the updates.
Thanks Mate, Are you excited about your upcoming visit to Chicago?
-
Thanks everyone for your kind words and support.
I am attaching my 3 month update pictures taken last week. Things seem to be right on track and I also met with Dr. Konior for a 3 month follow up. He was thrilled to see the progress so far
The scar looks good. Redness is gone for the most part and there are no signs that I had any kind of surgery.
-
Results look really good buddy. Watch out at the nursing school with that hair and beard. I heard the ration of male to female is 1:10 and most of them are naughty nurses
-
Thanks Agent. I am looking forward to more growth. Wish there was a time machine so that one could just fast forward 8 months and see what it would look like.
Anyway I am have a pretty similar regimen to yours which I think has sped up the growth process.
Finastride .25 mg M-F
Revita Shampoo - MWF

Thanks for the kind comments Staggerleee..I think the lag that you notice on the right temple is the way I style my hair..I comb from right to left, hence slightly more exposure on the right side. But I must say you have a great eye for detail
And Yes Dr. Konior is one of the few elites who can be called master of his trade
