  1. I had a procedure done around 9 months ago and the on one side there is no visible signs where the grafts were implanted, the skin is completely flat and flush with my surrounding skin. However, on the other temple there are small white colored bumps where the new hairs are growing out of. They are not overly obvious but are visible when looking at it from the right angle. The side without any bumps is the side that grew in quicker so I'm wondering maybe the slightly bumpy side is still healing? Is it normal for the skin to still be slightly raised or am I looking at having a dreaded cobble stoning situation?? Thanks for the help.
  2. Hello, I had a hair transplant procedure done by FUT around 8 months ago. Currently I see a lot of growth but it's still thin and wispy hair. I also noticed that there's some gaps in the growth. Approximately how many months post op can one expect all the grafts to actually sprout and start growing? Will new grafts continue to sprout beyond 8 months? Thanks.
  3. Does anyone have his contact info? I wanted to ask him some questions about his scar revision with dr. Hasson. Thanks.
  4. Oh wow your right...that does look almost identical to how mine is, thanks for sharing. And that ended up developing into a fine white line? How much longer after?
  5. Gotcha. Was it also red or just pure white skin
  6. Wow and you said it disappeared after a while? That's very encouraging as I've almost convinced myself it is stretching. When you ran your finger over it at the time what did it feel like if you recall?
  7. Guys, was able to snap a few pics with the camera phone to give you a better idea...
  8. Does anyone have some good examples of a scar revision that they underwent that they can post? And I'm referring to the extracting the scar and redoing it, not FUE into it. Thanks
  9. Thanks for the replies...I used the small mirror facing a mirror technique to get a better look at it. Towards the left side of the scar, there is no hair growing at all. I'm trying to tell if its all shock loss or scar tissue. Is it still too early to tell the width? I'm afraid that its all scar tissue, and it looks pretty wide.
  10. When can you get a good read on a strip scar?
  11. Yeah I still do not see any kind of definite line at all...It's just a square block basically extending across my head. So I'm hoping that it's not all scar tissue and maybe just hair shocked out like you said. Is it typical for hair to take that long to come back though?
  12. Thanks for the tip...that's the first time I tried that. Unfortunately, it appears my concerns were real and that the area of redness isn't just red skin, but scar tissue. So the strip is fairly wide which I'm very disappointed about. Being at 6 months...Is that width going to get any better as the scar heals? Or am I stuck with the width?
  13. I've tried to get a good pic, but haven't had much success. It's not raised, just red. I had the procedure 6 months ago. And so you're saying it's normal for area above and below to be red? So it's probably not as wide as it appears now? Thanks for the help
  14. I have a donor scar still healing and red. I can't make out a distinct white line yet to determine the width. However, the part of my skin that is still red is wide. Is that area of redness going to be the width of the final scar, or does the surrounding tissue also get affected and become red while the scar is healing. Thanks.
  15. Does anyone have any experience with it though and noticed it get better past the six month mark?
  16. Hey guys...I had a FUT procedure done about 6 months ago. I have a light skin tone and my scar is still very much pink/red. I just got a short haircut for the first time to see how the scar would look. I buzzed the back down to a #4. As you can see, the scar is still slightly visible. I was just wondering in anyone's experience is this likely my final result as far as the scar goes or is it going to get better over time? Do you think as the redness fades it will become less visible? Thanks in advance...
  17. Thanks for taking the time to reply...I probably did a poor job of explaining. Their more kinky in texture then curly, curly was a bad word choice. They are just very course and stand up/are wiry. When you say that over time they will soften, how long do you mean? Thanks again for the reply and well wishes!
  18. I am 5 months out from a procedure and I've gotten some good growth so far. The only concern is my new hair is growing in curly and standing straight up, so it is kind of pushing my existing hair up and just looks funny all around. Is this something that is going to relax over time? Thanks.
