In my opinion he is average, but many people love him on the forums. I think he does a lot of the things Alvi Armani did years ago but for some reason gets a pass where Armani was always attacked. Most particularly, I mean, wasting too many grafts on high density low hairlines on young guys. I agreed with Mickey85, that Hasson & Wong are the best at FUT.

What I say is based on my own experiences with both type of tools as a patient and also what I've heard doctors say. No need for the vulgarity.

If you decide on FUE to increase your chances of good growth you want to go to a FUE doc that does the extractions himself and uses a manual punch as opposed to an electronic device. I'm not sure about Rahal being excellent at FUE. He was trained by and worked for Antonio Armani who was so negligent his medical license was taken away from him. Armani's clinic uses a drill, kind of looks like a black & decker power drill to take the follicles out of the donor. A technician does all the extractions. From what I heard on Rahal, a tech also does all of the extractions and I wouldn't be surprised if he uses the same type of drill. Also make sure the manual punch is less than 1mm in diameter because you will definitely scar with 1mm. The problem is the smaller the diameter the greater the chance of the follicles getting damaged and not growing back.

Wait it out a year or two with the shaved head. See if you can deal with it or if it bothers you too much.

You used a flash in the first set of pics which make the hair look worse. You notice how it looks better in the last set? I can tell there is no flash there. However your hair does look a bit thin in the donor. This is all part of the risk of HT. The donor thins too especially when men get into their 60's or 70's. Propecia or dutasteride will help the donor too, slowing down the miniaturization. It's actually the only reason I still take dutasteride - to maintain my donor.

Split every single FUE graft he extracted and rip his patients off. Massacre their donors with that drill he used to pull out grafts. Very poor yield and often bad angled work. Not to mention the suspect doctors that he has working for him all over the world. His tech from Toronto, Henry, was posing as a doctor at the Dubai Clinic.

Most people on this forum rightfully have a poor opinion of him, but I find it amazing that he lost his medical license in Canada and the USA and most people have no idea. Just thought I would let everyone know because I feel it's a crime that his clinics with their supposed doctors are still operating. Hopefully this will catch the eye of lurkers considering him.
