  1. Hi David sorry i seamed to have missed this reply havent been online for a while. If your in the UK use www.direct-propecia.co.uk there prices are the same as the bigger pharma companies but as their an english site there customer service is great and their delivery time is really fast like a few days. I guess now that the pound is so low in the exchange rate it might be a smart move for other countries to effectively use this site as they only deal in GBP and obviously the pound is weak to everything at the moment.
  2. Hair loss talk is a good forum with good members and good info but you have to realise that they too have an agenda. They sell products such as topical spiro which they "big up" to the high hills even though there is no convincing evidence that it works. Also i cannot find their brand of spiro S5 anywhere but there website so there is obviously a monopoly going on there. They are also sistered with sites that sell niz and are also going to be stocking it themselves very shortly. Its all about the money but my personal opinion of Niz is that it is a good product, one of the better ones in the regimen and does what we think it does. As for spiro so far not convinced.
  3. My personal opinion of generic medicine is that there is too much fear injected into the online communities with regards to fake medicine to simply make you buy the Merck products. Why on earth would any pharmaceutical company or drug producers make fake products ? Lets think about this logically. They produce batches in the millions that cost fractions of what the end retail price is so why would anyone need to make fakes. this does not happen and is simply not true. The main of producers of generic hair loss products are indian pharma companies who have hard working work ethics and have to adhere to strict indian guidelines much the same as their US counterparts. You can contact companies such as cipla or Dr readdy's and get information on their practice & protocol. There is also vast amounts of men who have been using generics for long years who have seen results equal to that of Merck Propecia. My own personal hairloss experience is on generics and they work, and i have the photos that just keep getting better to prove it. The companies i have used I trust as they want to provide the customer with a product that works so they can gain an ever increasing number of return buyers. why would any company sell something that isnt going to get them what they want = Profit. You don't get returning customers if the medicines don't work. If you can afford Merck Propecia or live in a country that offers it on prescription then obviously go with that but if you want to save money and want something that works get a pill cutter and buy fincar or finast and do something pro active for your hair loss. I can personally safely say that the following products work: finax finast fincar finpecia prohair prosteride veltride dutas finarid The following websites have time and again given good service, good products and fast shipping times: www.unitedpharmacies.com www.direct-procecia.co.uk both stock generic dustasteride (dutas and veltride) which have shown good results so far.
  4. I am yet to find any conclusive evidence that spiro works. i know its just massively hyped by hairlosstalk as they sell there own brand of it
  5. this is a really interesting thread. I would like to add that i am 23 and have been using generic fin for about a year. I dont appear to have any side effects and the treatment is working. my libido is slightly less sensitive in getting an erection but it doesnt bother me as starting to lose my hair was a horrible blow to my confidence. Long term effects are a worry but that goes for everything in life. and everything can be moderated. as for the face problems mens faces start to fill out at around twenty. If you sing everyday then your face will always look young and it will make you happy.
  6. has anyone ever tried veltride ? I dont fancy taking dutas as of the gelcaps has anyone had any experience with these ? thanks.
  7. Hey David when i first started i jumped straight in without doing all the reading and have been on generic 1mg for about 8.5 months. Most of this has been finpecia and I have really seen good benefits from it. At around month 2 i started shedding the after a week of that it just stopped. Since then no hairs in the shower or on the bed everything just stopped dead. Since about month 7 i have seen thickening of my crown and lots more hair growth. I feel much more confident now and have started to grow my hair back from a buzz cut. I guess finding a good site depends where you are and what your country and customs laws are. I can recommend a really good site where i get my finpecia from and i am in england. PM if you wanna know as i dont want to accidentally spam the forums, cheers lex
  8. I know this goes against what most people say and think but i couldnt justify staying on minoxidil. I would get so much bad flakey scalp and dandruff and never having dandruff before it was horible. My head would also be saw and my scalp condition was terrible. After about 6 months on both i stopped using it and nothing got worse. I started my regimen on minox (kirkland) and generic propecia and when i stopped the minox all the irritable things went away but i didnt lose any hair count or anything and my thinnning is mainly crown and mid top. just the other side of the coin for you hope thats helpful calv But then again that was minox 5% i have heard better things about Rogaine foam and im sure others will say the same.
  9. Hey Calv im new here but for what its worth I get my generic Fin from a UK site (dunno if they are actually in the UK but i think its designed for UK customers), there customer services is really good and express delivery was free so i was chuffed. I hope that proves as helpful, thanks O.
  10. Hello there I am new here but wanted to ask this question. I have been taking Generic Finasteride for about 8 months and it is working. I have been reading differing information that says that perhaps dustasteride is slightly better in regrowing hair than finasteride? does anyone have any opinions on this or has anyone one taken fin then switched to dust and seen better results ? does anybody take both in there regimen? is this advisable? If i did switch to dustasteride it would be generic like Dutas any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Oh also if this has been discussed before i dont mind reading the old thread if there is one thanks At the moment I am taking 1mg of generic finasteride a day + the occasional tricomin and Nizoral, hated minox. thanks
