  1. It's at a very early stage yet. They have stem cell hair transplant and hair multiplication(doubling) wherein they divide one donor follicle into two for transplant. It maximises your donor.. About their guarantee, the stem cell HT has only seen 25% success.. And for the unsuccessful patients they provided free HT.

  2. I have decided on Dr. Bhatti.. He has incomparable experience in India and also the 'anagen selective FUE', among many other detailed technicalities that you'll have mentioned above which caught my attention..so tentatively I will be getting on that plane 3 days prior to my scheduled(17th Apr) date to meet Dr. Bhatti in person and discuss my new hairline and shave my head for the anagen stubble to grow after 72 hours..

    Woohoo I'm soo excited thanks Hariri, based on ur suggestion I did my research, consulted him and I now feel very confident on going ahead with Dr. Bhatti... I'm soo looking forward..

    @GNX1, Jayukdht: Thanks again, for narrowing my options down and help me make an informed decision..It would be great to have you'll participate in my journey towards achieving that much desired hairline.

  3. Mickey, thats a valuable advice .. I suddenly feel good about the 1500 graft FUE I have scheduled with Dr.Bhatti for my hairline.. I might need to revisit in the future, but what the hell...why not!! Thanks buddy :)

  4. What in ur opinion is the best way to go about FUE, in order to preserve the donor area for future procedures? I'm seeking a surgery.. More inclined towards Dr.Bhatti as of now. The other considerations are Dr.A.. He uses open needle technique, which I came across somewhere causes more damage to the grafts in his FUSE technique.. Not many options in the market here for FUE.

  5. Or maybe u could just consult Dr Bhatti.. He charges almost 1.5 dollar/graft..and results are great.. Besides there are a lot of hill station type destinations u could tour: Himachal Pradesh, leh Ladakh, kashmir..

  6. @Proactive- This Dr. YV Rao is taking u for a ride.. where did you hear about this doctor from? Plz visit international society of hair restoration surgery.. It's one if the most credible body to protect customer/patient intrest. This Doctor claims to be a member of ISHRS whereas his name doesnot appear in the list of ISHRS website. So he turns out to be a cheat. Plz be very careful and educate yourself.

    Dear WinWin ;

    I also felt that HT surgeons in Hyderabad were not comfortable with BHT espacially as in my case it could be useful.I was informed that BHT has 1:20 rate of sucess in comparison to scalp hair transplant ; unlike the information shared by you here.I wonder , why anyone should go for BHT in such a case given that it is much more expensive.I have taken note of all the valuable information provided by you and shall proceed accordingly for future.

    However , as of now since i had already delayed it soo long and since i am already in Hyderabad comming all the way from Jammu , for this very purpose only ; i plan to go ahead with Dr Y V Rao followed by SMP in Dubai and BHT in chandigarh later on as suggested by you.

    Dr Y V Rao assured me that he could get 2500 grafts from my donor hair and restore a reasonable hairline.I understand his charges are also quite lesser in comparison with others in HYD.Given the situation of confusion and uncertanity created for me also i prefer to go for lesser expensive version and play safer.Plus Dr Rao from his age also appears to be quite an experienced Plastic Surgeon.

    Dr Y V Rao assured me that unlike other HT doctors from Hyderabad who were dermatologists he was a Plastic Surgeon Specialist and therefore better qualified to do this transplant and he also provided this as the justification as to why he could extract more donor grafts from my scalp.

    Well at lest this would seem quite convincing for a layman like me espacially as i strongly believe just that someone is charging lesser dosent mean that he is in any way lesser skilled / qualified than others who charge much higher. At least my case i personally believe that my case appears to be of some challenge to a HT specialist and calls for a bit of extra efforts , skills and comitment.

    Since i am a layman all i am relying upon now is my commonsense and intution only to take my decision.

  7. SMP is good but requires maintenance..if I were in ur place I would just get BHT frm Dr Bhatti.. Body has enough hair to cover the scalp and their growth is just like natural hair growing out of scalp, though it takes about a year for the hair to start growing on ur scalp after HT.. the growth is slow.. U could use SMP for ur temple points. I don't think they have any clinics in India for SMP. Nearest one wud b in Dubai..

    Also every surgeon has his comfort zone and BHT (FUE) is a technique that not many doctors feel comfortable performing.. So don't go by what Dr Madhu (specialisation FUT) has told u, it's just his in capability.. I wud suggest visiting Dr.A or Dr Bhatti for a consultation to begin with...

    All the best buddy!

  8. Hey Proactive, seems like Dr. Madhu does have limited capabilities.. U must consult Dr Radha from vishakapatnam she has got some very good results, that too with limited grafts. If u r seeking a body hair transplant then I would recommend Dr Bhatti(Chandigarh) or Dr A(Delhi, Mumbai).

    Or look at scalp micro pigmentation(HIS clinic). They have one in Dubai.
