  1. thanks man, i'm just happy i i caught the loss when i did with medication, i actually was gonna get a hair transplant when i was 22 but my credit card wouldn't go through at his office, then i came to this forum and everyone told me the doctor who was gonna do it is a butcher, so i never responded to his calls, so this site has already been a saving grace for me
  2. i've posted some pictures upon request because last time many of you didn't like the quality and therefore didn't want to assess my hair loss, i've been on fin for over 2 years and my recession hasn't moved at all as far as i can tell, i don't have any loss on the crown, i'm 25 and have been on fin because my brother has a norwood 5 patters where there is recession as well as thinning all over the top, but how many grafts would i need to restore my hairline? my hair is also very fine. most of these pics are just right out of the shower with my hair combed back. thanks for any imput
  3. i've been on it for over 2 years and the only side effect was my testicles ached for about 2 weeks, nothing after that, i actually had sex last night : )
  4. as far as i know propecia won't stop hailine loss just areas of the crown
  5. has anyone on this forum had a great outcome from a surpringly cheap hair transplant, like let's say $2 a graft or maybe less, i know many will say it's not worth the risk and research is key but i'm just curious if people on this forum have had great results from a doctor who charges substantially less, dr. giannotto is the guy in my area that comes to mind for cheap hair restoration.
  6. i'm 24, turn 25 in about a week, no loss on the crown, just a receding hairline which i started to notice at 22. what level is my loss and how many grafts would i need to fill in the recession. my brother is 27 and has extensive loss from his hairline and crown area, my father has a norwood IV, my mother's father was a norwood VII. i've also been on fin for about 2 years. what am i on the norwood scale?
  7. hello all, i'm a 24 year old male and i've been on proscar for about 2 years mainly for prevention, i have no hair loss on the crown but i do have a high hairline and don't want it to get worse (yes i know proscar isnt for the hairline)because my brother is 27 has lost a lot of hair and my father is a Norwood 4, i don't want to quit taking it but my doctor won't give me anymore refills and propecia is too expensive, so fundamentally if i quit taking it am i going to go in a shed or anything?
