  4. I know the donor area is limited, but why is everyone so against FUE on this site, is it because of its cost or is there anything else? About this closure that has been mentioned alot on the forum, is it realy that impressive that its almost invisible, is it realy accurate that it gets so invisible on every patient that has this closure or is it just two or three patients that has showed and everyone are basing on this patient. Because I know a patient that has not gotten a good closure by a method that is suppose to do a good one wouldnt speak out that high, or am I just paranoid here?
  5. Hello hairbank. I know you guys have to say that 23 years is realy young but what I have the last year gone through I think its just not life and going on propecia and testing other stuff wont get my hair back for sure. Propecia stopa the hairloss that indeed it does I hope. My hairloss is very slow but there still is some, but loosing hair since 5 years back what can I say. I did email Dr Cooler, Dr Eipstein, Dr Hassan&Wong and all told me I would need from 2200-3000 grafts and all of them take around $5-5,50 per graft, only one that take cheaper was Shapiro that takes $4 per graft for people who live outside the US. So the cost of operations was around $12.000 from every doc. So I thought $14.000 here at home would be reasoble but still less grafts what I understand? And the picture above maybe do not look that it would be that very bad but it in real person you would understand it realy sucks! =/ Who makes the best "trichopytic" closure method in the US? // Robo
  6. Hello folks! I know FUE is realy expensive and I indeed know it, it will kill a bit of my student economy but I feel right now that I lost about 2-3 years of my life because of this crap and now when the hairline is rubbed I feel I need to get it back to start living my life again. About FUT as I said, I do not know what will happend in the future and someday I maybe want to cut my hair short and to know that this scar will be visible and that there is nothing to do about it, the thought just kills me. And if I ask myself if the money are worth, I feel I have no choice right now. I also emailed some US surgeons a while ago about FUT, they recomend a 3000 FUT procedure that would cost me 11.000 USD excluding the hotel and airflight, so thats also pretty expensive. And I asked them if they have any guarantee on the work they do and they said 80% of the hair that they transplant should grow and if there is any bald spots of the transplant area they will correct it. // Robo
  7. Hello boyz n girlz. I have finally decided that its time for me to do this HT, after checking this forum and others for 2 years I feel its time to get my life back on the track. I started to loose hair when I was 18 and when I turned 20 I got in hold of the info via the internet that there is something called propecia and since then, now 3 years Ive been on and of propecia. Ive been planing on maybe take a trip to the US to make a FUT but the scar always kept me moving the decision up all the time, I was thinking all the time, what happends later if I will like or need to cut my hair short/snagg it and then have to see this scar in the back and know there is nothing to do about it. So I started to search for some clinics in my country and came across a 3 year old clinic that specialize themself into FUE, they have made the FUE a bit better and call it FUE PLUS were they use needle of 0,5 instead of 0,8 or 1,0 were most places use when they put the grafs in. So I went for a consultation and I thought they knew what they were talking about but still I do not have anything to compare to as this was my first visit to a HT clinic. I also know that FUE can leave some white spots in the back in the donor area, can it also leave in the transplantation are where the grafts are going to be placed? And does someone have pictures of how this dots can look like? The hardest thing is that is cost so much more that FUT, twice as much to be real. They told me I should get 1200 or 1500 grafts depending if I want to put some in the middle also. The scatch is also made by them on my head where they think the hairline should stop, about the design that could be discussed before surgury. The price for 1500 FUE will be 14.000 USD What you guys think about my decision and my thoughts? I attached a recent picture of my hairloss. Btw Im 23 years old. Thanx! //Robo

  13. Okey well.. what can I do.. I can chill and pray for good results EDIT! I read some info about shedding and this is what I came up with "Shedding is a term given to an excessive amount of hair being lost at once. While this is a very unpleasant experience, it is actually a very good sign and indication that the Propecia is working. Shedding occurs when many follicles are put back into the growth cycle at the same time. When a hair enters the anagen or growth phase the first thing that happens is the old hair is pushed out by the new hair that is starting to grow. Shedding usually occurs after about 12 weeks of treatment and lasts for around 4-6 weeks. After this initial shedding phase has occurred most men experience fewer and fewer of these and most often they go largely unnoticed. If you are going though a shed phase do not panic as it will most likely slow down and stop after a few weeks. If you experienced an increased amount of hair loss almost immediately after taking Propecia it is likely that you are experiencing a hypoandrogenic effect and not a shed. If this is that case then you should see a physician about possibly discontinuing the drug. " Is says that if I shadde in the begining its not shadding... And what can I say Im like in the 4-5 week and I have notive my hair much more thinner... so is it realy shedding Im experiecing? //RobotNick
  14. Okey but this hair that I loose faster will it grow back ? Because you say that Im only for 2 months so thats nothing.. you mean this shadding will go on and on for more months? 16. I have one more question.... Not related to this thread but anyways... I see that many people that does the HT choose the method were they slice in the back .. why? Isnt it better to make the HT where they directly pull out the root in the back without leaving any slicetrace ?

  22. Yeah excacly Regain = Rogaine... So in other words Regain and propecia will continue ... But has no one heard of the shampoo called THYMU SKIN? Maybe its bs that it should activits the hair roots..
  23. Okey doesnt sound to good ... Should I use Regain also or not? Because Im kinda doing it right .. but maybe its not to good to use Regain and Propecia and the same time?
