  1. Yes indeed it's nice to see you here Dr. Nigam. I have one main question: How is your procedure different from Acell + PRP injections being done all over the world right now? You're talking about hair duplication right? If you're taking 200-300 grafts and multiplicating this into thousands, to my knowledge no one does this right now. This is why a lot of people might be reluctant since you'd be kind of the first to do this. No one has said they were being able to do this before. Usually if someone comes up with a new procedure, other doctors will be quick in implementing it as well. To my knowledge there isn't a doctor offering hair duplication right now so people might be hesitant to believe what you are offering. So I personally would love you to elaborate on what you're doing exactly and how that is related to current technology we know about (PRP, Acell, stemcells). E.g. what do you use to duplicate hair? I'll be in India in the next few months. I could come visit your facilities. Thanks
  2. Hi Future_HT_Doc, Yes this was a very helpful and thorough answer. Thanks! Further research on my part lead me to understand that Acell is not related to stemcell technology but will help activate the stemcells present in our body and help healing/regeneration. Stemcell technology used for hair regrowth is in testing (like replicel) and is a different technology as you said. Any other promising companies/treatments doing testing right now with stemcells or other major new technology? Are you indeed a future HT doc? What do you think about Acell + PRP injections? (only injections, without HT) Cheers!
  3. Does that also apply to Acell + PRP injections? When we talk about stem cell FUE procedure, we're talking about Acell right? So I assumed FUE + stem cell was using the same technology as ACell + PRP injections, thus their effectiveness should be the same?
  4. Although I was kind of curious about Dr Nigram statements, I was planning to go to Dr. Hitzig to have injections of Acell + PRP. (no implants) A lot of different opinions and experiences on the web. What's your opinion on the matter? You mentioned momentum behind Acell has stalled for graft duplication, does that affect the potential behind stopping hair loss and reviving what is still alive with the injections? Yes it isn't very clear. But from what I gather, you give him 300-500 grafts and then you come back like 3 weeks later and he implants you 5000 grafts on the head. Just writing that seems hookey. He's cloning hair then. in 3 weeks. We're not there yet are we?
  5. Well acell + PRP FUE is already being done right now with success by people like Gary Hitzig. The science is there. What needs to be addressed with Dr. Nigram is if he is simply trying to capitalize from the buzz surrounding stemcell hair restoration with a curious new procedure he came up with and very positive assessments. As it was pointed out here, If you give him 400 grafts and you come back later with 4000 to implant, what tells you these grafts are yours? Is it even possible to clone your grafts in a short amount of time? Because that's what he's saying right?
