  1. Hello everyone, I'm new to this site... so bear with me. I recently had a HT, I underwent the strip method a little over 3 weeks ago. I had 2004 grafts inserted into both my left and right temporal hairlines (I hope this is giving you a good depiction). I suffered from traction alopecia. In result to the transplant I had a lot of swelling in my face. I did take the steroid during the day of treatment and the pills post-op. This started happening day 1 after the transplant but triggered full on during day 2. By day 8 pretty much all of the swelling subsided. However, it left some nasty under eye bruising or black eyes. Has this happened to anyone else? Here it is, day 23 and the dark marks are not all the way gone. I did not have this problem pre-op. The nurses/assistants at the office in which I received the surgery keeps informing me that it will eventually go away but I am beginning to lose hope. Can anyone help on shed some insight on their experiences with this? There is very minimal information out there in regards to this matter. Thanks!
