Hi All, I just discovered this forum last night and I’ve been up almost all night reading. I was hoping to get more patient feedback regarding Dr. Pak. I visited with him, really feel good about it and about him, went to the open house and met previous patients who all looked good and natural, saw a multitude of patient picts, and I’m scheduling my surgery soon. I do know his background, and that he has been trained and highly endorsed by Dr. Rassman – but I like the feedback from this forum. He seems to be the only high-profile clinic that I cannot find many patient results from on this forum ( all pretty positive that I’ve read, but the latest is Dec 2009, by “Dr. Pak’s Patient” – which was very detailed and helpful). But Dr. Pak works up to 3 times a week so I know there are more out there… I have been researching the process for about a year, but I admit that this forum is the first research I have done on anyone other than Pak. I am determined to do this real soon and with an elite clinic in Southern California – I am open to suggestions, and I intend to consult with more Dr’s. .

COST:
I heard that they are one of the more expensive clinics. Pak charges $6/graph, reduced to $5/graph if you go stand-by. Is this a good rate?
Does anyone know what Dr. Siporin Charges? What is avg range for the best clinics?
QUALITY and other So Cal Options:
I’ve come across some good endorsements here for Dr. Siporin and Dr. Reed. Are they regarded as the best in So. Cal? Is Pak regarded to be of the same quality? Better? Same as Dr. Rassman?
SHAVING:
I noticed that some Dr’s shave the Recipient Site, and some (like Dr. Pak) do not. Is there an advantage either way? I prefer not to shave it.
# OF GRAPHS:
Of the patients I’ve seen consult with multiple Dr.s including Pak, Pak seems to recommend less graphs than the other docs on average. This is great to keep the budget in line, but any idea why that is? More Conservative? Does he do more with less? He is recommending between 1,800-1,900 for me.

Appreciate those notes and suggestions Cowl. Very helpful. I consulted with Dr. Siporin today as well - an experience I really enjoyed. The recomendation was very similar but Dr. Siporin and his staff gave a more thorough consult and have a less expensive rate. Unless I hear different, the impression I get is that they are both about equal? And i just have to pick one and go for it.
