Yes Johnson! the hitch as far as my knowledge goes is that these drugs need to be adapted for local use as in skin application, otherwise they will have effect (sides?) on all of the body.

Hello Pawan! After talking to you yesterday, I googled Dr. Ravi and came up with only Dr. Batra's promotions crediting him...nothing else. IMHO, a HT surgeon who started working a year ago and has already done 370 surgeries smells just too fishy. This means he practically operated every day without taking even one day break. Either that or .... BTW for your info Dr. Batra has many hair transplant clinics in India..Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Cochin, Chennai etc. They are also planning to generate more money to expand their hair transplant network.. Dr Batra's to raise Rs 100 cr PE fund It's clearly another business venture for them. If you are confident about the surgeon go ahead, but do not take his word for face value.

After spending a lot on alternative treatments I have now reverted to the big 3 (propecia, rogaine, nizoral). Now a news item says one Dr. Costarelis can grow hair by blocking a molecule called PGD2. And the drugs for that will be available in market very soon.. Any one having the real story??

Hello Pawan, As a friend I would strongly advise you to stay away from cheats like Dr. Batra. I have wasted lots of money on their three year courses that promised to cure my hair fall from the root for ever. :mad: Moreover they are homeopaths? How can they do surgeries?? I mean isn't there a law or something about it? :eek: Wait and save up like I am doing right now... but when you are ready go to a good surgeon ONLY.
