  1. I took the plunge today after what is for me a very quick decision. It only took a few days after reading all the info on this forum to decide to book with Dr Path in Bangkok in 5 week's time. So thanks in advance to all the people who contributed to my knowledge and helped me decide so quickly. A little background and a question... I'm a NW6, and have been for the last 20 years. I was resigned to a future of baldness. I thought my hair life would be over in a few years and I would be soon shaving off my combover and looking like my father. He was bald at 25. And to tell the truth, when I read the posts here and saw that many of you are in the 25-40 age group, I wondered if I was too old to be doing this. But many of the results here are amazing, and that's given me great hope. My wife isn't worried one way or another. She said after 40 years she didn't stay married to me for my hair. And that's true enough. I'm doing it for myself. OK, the question. To me, the first indicators of guys going bald starts at the crown. Yet most people get the frontal areas done first. I want to have the crown filled in and then whatever is left over from the 4000 grafts needed used at the front. Dr Path's assistant said most transplantees start from the face side first because that's where most people view you from. But of course people also see you from every angle, and none of it looks good with a monk patch in an otherwise great head of hair. Anyone gone the crown way first? Should I get this done and do the crown in 18 months like everyone else? That's a long time to wait! Thanks! I'll keep my progress updated.
