Hey Mark - have you ever come across a lady based in the Sale area called Lynda? she apparently is an affiliated stylist for Hair4All but also does other systems. Wondered whether you have heard anything about her

Try lowering the dose. the way I see it, if you are getting sides then it probably means the drug is 'working' but the doseage doesnt need to be so high.

 

Try 1/4 every other day or every 3 days.

 

Are you sure your hairloss is not caused by the rogaine shedding phase?

I still got side effects when I cut round down to 1mg a week !! It's awful stuff that screws up your hormones in my opinion

just be aware that if you are one of the unlucky ones to have sexual side effects then they really are not worth taking the drug for - personally i would choose minoxidil over propecia as the drug ruined my sex life completely

try searching online for herbal DHT blockers for hair loss - I don't know effective they are though but have to be safer than propecia

I tend to to think the 2% figure is rubbish too - when I took it I suffered from the same side effects and felt more depressed about those than the hairloss - even after coming off propecia it took ages for me to start functioning normally sexually again. It's your choice at the end of the day, but I know I would never touch propecia again , I am convinced it is more dangerous than claimed.

Yeah I got mine done with Paul Anthony - Absolutely top bloke and my experience was excellent. Dead pleased with what he's done. I have a real dodgy copper in my hair which I never thought he'd match but the colour is spot on.

He also does the session after his salon closes which is brilliant.

I tried propecia but came off it as the side effects were horrendous and more upsetting than the hair loss itself. I believe that not everyone gets side effects but I'd rather be totally bald than experience those side effects again

both charging about ?250.00 inc cut in . u can buy else wearlike northwest lace where u can get a sysyem from about ?110 and i no nick will do a cut in .i get around 4 to 5 months

Crikey that is far cheaper than I had imagined - so basically a year's worth is around 750 - u have made my day, I might not have to put up with this balding patch much longer

when i first started wearing he got me a system just for the crown it worked great. he can get u any lace or skin system he doesnt have a website

Have any of you been to Paul Anthony in Manchester for Total Cover Plus hair system? Any reviews would be greatly appreciated as I am thinking of booking a consultation there.

I have been suffering hairloss in the crown area for the last several year - mainly been thinning that I have been able to disguise with careful cuts/styles and more latterly topikk. In the last year I had a shorter haircut and ever since my thinning patch has become harder and harder to disguise and seems to be getting worse.

I have tried propecia (which gave me awful side effects), minoxidil, herbal remedies, laser comb treatment and topikk. I am currently on a regime of minoxidil twice a day, laser comb 3 times a week, 2 herbal supplements a day and topikk before leaving the house. I am wondering why I am bothering as none of the treatments seem to work for me.

The front of my hair is still thick and i have little recession to the hair line - all of my thinning is crown based and I am hoping that it might be possible to have a crown based Total Cover Plus system - the company have told me that it is possible. So I would be interested in hearing any other experiences people have of using Paul Anthony Hairdressing for this system
