Hi..
I'm new to this board. My alopecia had been in remission for 12 years and as of 5 weeks ago I developed a large bald spot on each side of my head with unbelievable excessive shedding and I just found a bald spot in the back that was not there three days ago.
I don't believe I'm stressed and my diet lifestyle has been the same for the past 12 years. The only thing that I recently changed was in January, I started taking women's multivitamins and biotin...three months later I have alopecia.
Is it possible that my vitamins triggered it? Think about it, I didn't have a good diet. I eat fast food, candy, drink Starbucks and soda all the time, so I'm not really getting nutrients and have been anaemic all my life and have NEVER taken vitamins.
I decide to take vitamins that have iron, vitamin D, B,C (that boost your immune system) and my alopecia is back after 12 years with a vengeance. Coincidence? I'm starting not to think so...
