  1. Best of luck. How many grafts are you aiming for?

HI ... I wasnt sure how many grafts I would be able to get.. I wanted a decent hairline apart from filling the rest of the area.

radha is amazing like all you guys said in terms of friendliness, hospitality and overall service.

She is fantastic......... in terms of servicing.

Grafts - She said my donor hair is very good and super thick and was expecting a decent amount .. But also said she would tkae a strip out in such a way that later on I did not have trouble stitching it back lest the scar would be huge.

She was aiming for 3800 grafts or so..... surprise surprise .. She got 4275 grafts.....

During the surgery, I was so restless,,, she gave me several of her sleeping pills and I wasnt able to sleep at all... kept moving ..... after a while I was upset with the Bangkok lady who kept sternly asking me stay put... One put I woke up and said IM GOING FORGET THE TRANSPLANT. When Dr. Radha got angry , then I said I am angry , I told her doctor just put me to sleep because the medications are not helping .

They did..... Not only has she made me a decent hairline ..... she has also filled in 90 per cent of my whole bald area with high density...... Only part she says is missing is the back of the crown where hair is still there but thinning out..... she says maybe in a year or two I can do that asl well.

Scar - When I took a pic of my scar it looked a little big... I was scared.. She told me unlike other people's scalp , LAXITY of my scalp is high that she was easily able to stitch it back . The only problem being that since my skin is so malleable , its possible that the stretching of my easily stretchable scar could increase it from 1 mm to even 3 mm. but isnt sure yet.

my mother saw the transplant areas and is highly imprssed... Now only waiting.

UNTIL NOW, REVIEW IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC , I dont know if you would agree, but I am going back from here VERY VERY HAPPY!

  2. Hi Guys ,

I need a lot of prayers  as I am finally doing my HT .

I am doing it with Dr. Radha..She seems really sweet when I speak with her. I am simply expecting a hairline ..

Sorry I took off some of my bald pics.. But I replaced them with pics where I have two lovely ladies with me..

My Mother - Who I have been fighting with forever and despite all that she is still with me in Vizag going through the whole ht ordeal with me.

My sister - Who encouraged me to go through for this HT because she realised how low my confidence had become.

I do owe much to this forum coz I was able to quickly scan a specialist and get the job done. so Thanks guys !

  3. Hi kesso,

I just cited my personal opinion. I have seen how 3ds work on facial transplants and I would imagine it cant be ascertained how a persons HT would go because you wouldnt know how the doctor does the hairline, or how he would plug hair and how much in which area. Plus how many grafts fall off permanently, how much regrows back etc.

With due respect, I appreciate your work yet continue to have my reservations about it .

    God Bless !

  4. Thanks i will check regarding that

I am uploading a pic and marking the area in which i have lost my hair please check that

HI younis... trust me dont worry this much ... I was like 20 say 7 and a half years ago lol.... and i stressed so much on a norwood 1A , I started losing hair from all over my scalp.

Propecia is not a good idea and Minoxidil neither.... I used minoxidil from 21 onwards until i couldnt sustain ti at times.... after leaving it in a year my hair loss was sooomuch I couldnt bear it .. All that science that minoxidil does not create further hairloss is rubbish. I am sure it causes more than you were supposed to lose if you were not using it .

No one in my family is bald from either side.... I suggest get saw palmetto , calm your mind and start using saw palmetto on an everyday basis and stick to it dont think about your hair... I am sure it will be enough to sustain your current hair for atleast 10 to 12 years and later you can consider other options . STAY calm. Stress can aso make you lose hair in lumps like it did for me .

  5. i have been bald since age 24 and now im 28 . From poker straight blade like thick indian hair to a norwood 5 now...I was a norwood 3 at 24. its not something that I can bear to live with anymore as I am losing my youth even before my thirties have begun. Imagine being made to feel as if I am 35 at 24 by people older than me as well.

While my shaved bald head is quite popular with my european friends girls and boys, my asian community does not take too well to it and I am sick of the constant fun being poked at me, even if it is in jest. I hate being in india because the jokes just dont stop!

Lets just say asians are the most sensitive race:o .... and im a part of it !

    Hi,

I am 1 week shy of the 5 month mark. When I had my first hair transplant I was a norwood VI and it was very easy to see the hair growing at 4.5 mark. I now have about 30 - 35 grafts on the front third of my head and I'm finding it harder to tell the difference, however, I can see some fine hair growing in the hairline. I will have to wait another 5 weeks before I evaluate how I am going.

This time around I only had about 1300 grafts in the hairline to a depth of 7cm. Doctor Radha told me I had a tight closure in the donor area and she was concerned how the scare would go but I can say that it is still pencil thin and I think she did a good job.

Have you had an in person consult with Doctor Radha? There are 2 members on the forum who have fully matured results with her i.e. Cardel25 and Subbu. Perhaps you can contact them for a recommendation.

    Cheers Rod

  6. Doing a 3d visual is the worst thing you can ever do... its never realistic..... it makes you look so good that if the ht is bad you will get suicidal.

I know how a reputed cosmetic surgeon showed my aunt her face in 3d post a facelift and her expectations were so high it was unbelievable.

Too bad because the facelift was not breathtaking and it made her get a nervous breakdown.
