  1. Hi there After much research on this website and others I decided to undergo HT with Dr Radha. I had emailed pictures to a few surgeons within SE Asia and all said I was progressing towards Norwood 5 and suggested I have 2500 to 3000 grafts. As has already been stated by many others, Dr Radha is a wonderful and very professional person. She did not make unrealistic promises or claims and explained each step of the procedure clearly and answered all my questions and concerns. I explained that I did not wish to look like I was 20 again but rather fill in the area I have left. She thought this to be a sensible idea and a better use of the grafts allowing for a thicker coverage. I have nothing new to add to the experience of the procedure that has not already be said except to confirm that at all times I felt safe and well cared for. At no time did I experience any extra discomfort. I chose the local vegetarian lunch which was good, I stayed at Budhill Park hotel which is perfectly fine. Internet could be better there but everything else was absolutely fine. I have paid more to stay in worse. Final transplant count as follows; 1 hair - 662 2 hair - 2140 3 hair - 420 I also bought Finasteride 1mg and have started taking them but will probably only take it every other day. See how that goes and then maybe increase the dosage. So in conclusion; as has been stated many times before, Dr Radha is a truly wonderful surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. I will try to update pictures weekly so that you can see how the procedure went. (have just edited post, had wrong transplant count, now correct)
  2. Hi Rockstar Thank you for your reply. Looking good. The area that received the transplants seems to be looking fairly normal. Little redness and no swelling, at least not that i can detect in the pictures. I do agree that you would look better if you cut the sides. But that is just my personal choice. I am trying to contact Dr Radha but find she is slow to respond to emails. I assume that someone like her would be extremely busy and so difficult to get hold of.
  3. Hi there I have searched and read what feels like hundreds of posts and I am a little confused. My question is when can I resume things like scuba diving or wearing a motorcycle helmet? I appreciate that I need to stay out of the sun and not get sunburnt, having already had a melanoma removed, I'm not the sunbathing type. But I am thinking of taking a longish holiday after the op and was wondering if I can go scuba diving. Looking forward to your advice.
  4. No answers? I would like to know how I would look 2 weeks or 3 weeks after the procedure. I will be going to a conference/job fair 3 weeks post operation and i cannot afford to look weird or ridiculous. Can anyone point me towards their pictures 2 and 3 weeks post procedure?
  5. Hi there I am a 43 year old and I am confident that I will under go a hair transplant with Dr Radha in India sometime later this year. I have sent pictures of my hair to 3 clinics recommended on this forum and all 3 suggested 2500 to 3000 grafts needed. It was said I look like I am heading towards Norwood 4, maybe 5. I am looking to fill in what I have, not try to look like I did when I was 20. So my questions; How soon post op will I not look like Frankenstein? I am a school teacher and don't wish to look like I've obviously had work done. How soon can I go scuba diving? (weeks, months) I still have a lot of hair on my head, I guess that after the transplanted hair grows back I would look like I have a near full head of hair. Then over the coming years the original hair would fall and I would look like I was thinning. Is this right? Anyone have experience of this? Glad I found this forum and I look forward to your replies.
