  1. Here is what the HT Doc told me. He told me he does have a very expensive model in his office. There is many theories on how it exactly works, but he has yet found a proven theory. He told me he has personally seen results from some people, while others had absolutely not effect at all. Straight up, he said if I had the disposable income to invest in one, I might see results in 9 months or so. He has not see results any sooner than that. However, he recommended doing a propecia/rogaine stack. If prices drop down in the future I may invest in one, but I am not going to buy into the hype. I do have professional experience in FDA disease/cure claims that products push off. The statistics are pretty much horrible. Just because something has been evaluated does not mean that it is a cure, or that is definatively works. I rather believe the reviews off of this board.
  2. Hello, I have been viewing this forum for awhile, but I am a first time poster. I took the dive plunked down for a HT with Dr. Siporin in Tulsa today. The determining factor for me was that I live in an area that I have many plastic surgeons, but not many that are proven in HT field. I wanted this done correctly from a professional off of this website with positive reviews. From the pictures I sent in the estimate was 2200-3000 grafts. I sent in a check for the 2200 since that was the amount of graft I was going to at least being inserted. Upon consultation it was determined that the amount I needed was less than first estimated, therefore I received a refund. I was grateful of his honesty, because we all know there are doctors who will take advantage of any opportunity. Dr. Siporin and his staff were very thorough, and diligent in explaining what to expect, and walking through step by step their actions. Dr. Siporin is pretty blunt, and real which I appreciate. He gave me realistic goals, and some logical advice for the future. I do have before pictures which I will make an attempt to upload when I return home. Bottom line, I was very pleased with his professionalism, and I am now one of the many believers of the Dr. Charles Glenn/ Dr. Kenneth Siporin group.
