  1. I'd just like to say a big thank you to everybody on this site for their help and advice, this is a great site for anyone looking into having a hair transplant. I,ve now got over the shock of not being able to have a HT and think of myself lucky to have been told the truth by Dr Bisanga, the guy could of went ahead and done the surgery and took €11,000 off me but in fairness to him hes a genuine honest and caring man who told me the truth and I respect that. Well I'm not going to be around these forums anymore and wish everybody on here the very best regards.... Ciao.....
  2. The Dr checked my donor area with a little device, and said he normally looks for density 60-100 and my density is 50 so I,m not suitable.
  3. Following my consultation with Dr Bisanga on 8th Aug I have no option but to throw in the towel and forget about a hair transplant . Dr Bisanga has told me my donor density is around 50 and "not suitable for hair transplantation", faced with this unfortunate news Ive decided to accept the number 1 all over look, and move on with life... Wish you all well

  6. Thanks for your replies I've looked up hairlines of different people online and have some I like so I,ll print these off and take them with me to give Dr an idea of what I'm thinking. I was under the impression that I'd be left alone to decide hairline, but knowing the Dr will help me decide is reasuring....

  8. Have a consultation with Dr Bisanga on 8th Aug, one of the main concerns I have is deciding on a hairline. How do people decide which hairline to go with? I'm not sure if I should go along the outline of the receding line or bring it down? Would it look more natural if one were to allow for normal age related receding pattern? Thanks guys
  9. Hi Jay, I think I,ll go with Dr Bisanga, I have been quoted €11,000 for 3,000 FUE grafts its €5 for the first 1,000 grafts and €3 per graft for following 2,000 grafts. I was considering Dr De Reys who quoted €7,000 but for the extra €4k I'm thinking it may be wiser to go with Dr Bisanga whos FUE work is well documented. Are you in Dublin? be sure not to have a HT in Ireland I live in Dublin and wouldnt dream of doing my surgery here as surgeons are over priced and under qualified.
  10. I'm seriously considering Bisanga
  11. Thanks for reply, Ive never heard of Dr Lorenzo must check him out online.
  12. Hello to all, "Worldwide" which surgeons could be considered as the top 5 at FUE mega sessions ie: 2,500-3000 grafts. And what kind of paperwork $$$ can I expect to pay for lets say 3000 x grafts? Please Note: I'm trying to find a surgeon for (FUE work only) no strip. Thanks in advance for replies

  14. Thanks to everyone for your comments, deciding on a surgeon is not easy
  15. I agree its probably not a good idea to pick a doc based on price, however most of us on here do have a limited budget. The reason I leaned towards Dr Reys was the fact I could have 3000 fue for 7000 euro. On the other hand maybe Id be better off waiting another few months, save another 5k and get it done from one of the well known fue surgeons? because if its not done right the first time I could pay more on repair work
  16. Well the price quoted for 3,000 FUE grafts is ?7,000

  18. I have the chance to have FUE with Dr Rudi De Reys in Belgium in July. I am planning to do 3,000 grafts by FUE. The price seems to be very fair. I'm just a little nervous about going ahead with surgery mainly because I cannot find alot of information about Dr De Reys work, saying that what information I have found online has all been very positive and I have not read of any complaints about Dr De Reys. I guess I'm looking for a little bit more reassurance that all will be ok if I opt to go ahead and have surgery with Dr De Reys. I would appreciate any views opinions etc positive or negative regarding Dr Rudi De Reys and preferably from members who have not joined the site today . Thanks in advance for your replies.
  19. I know its not easy waiting but your better saving some more money and getting it done right the first time, the last thing you want is a bad result or worse having to save more money for a repair job. Best of luck mate
  20. Hello to all I'm thinking about booking my surgery with Dr Rudi De Reys in Belgium. Im going for FUE , 3000 grafts. Would like to hear any feedback , preferably from members with more than 1 posting ... Thanks!!!
  21. Thank you for your replies guys
  22. Ive had a few quotes for 2500-3000 FUE grafts which have been between ?6000 - ?9000 euros so I was a little surprised when I got a quote for ?13000 but I do understand theres different prices with different surgeons and I would much prefer to pay more the first time to have it done properly.
  23. While I understand you pay for what you get in terms of quality surgeons etc I'm curious to know what the average cost would be for 3000 FUE grafts?. Ive been quoted ?13000 euro which seems a slightly excessive
