  1. Gents - Hope you're all doing well this evening. Today is day 8 post-op (FUT, 2295 grafts) and I ran out of GraftCyte gel this morning. The itching in my donor area has gotten progressively worse throughout the day and I'm finding myself scratching along the sutures of my donor area. Do you have any recommendations for products that may help ease this area? I've considered hydrocortisone gel with aloe and moisturizers, but I didn't want to make the jump into using it if it may cause problems. Thanks for all your insight!
  2. Gents - Hope you're doing well tonight. I'm so glad I found this site. I've practically spent the last two days browsing the many articles across the forum. Your extensive knowledge is awesome. Here's my backstory: I am on day 5 of my post-op, having had 2295 FUT grafts transplanted into the general crown area of my head. Although I have not placed my graft area directly under the shower head, I have been using the "bucket" method of showering : filling up a cup and allowing the water to flow over the graft site when washing. When I was cleaning up post-shower this morning, I noticed sizable scabs caught in existing hair. After a very gentle pass with a wide-toothed comb, two hair shafts were on the comb. Pic below is related. In short, is this something to be worried about? This does look like shedding to me, but is day 5 too early to experience shedding of this kind? Thanks so much - I appreciate all your insight.
