  1. I paid ?4.16 per graft with Dr Reddy at Selston, and I believe his work is far superior to Villow, who is not recommended on here (Dr Reddy is). Dr Reddy is a FUE only surgeon too.

Dude, you got your view, I got mine and, yeah totally disagree with your 'far superior' stuff. That's your opinion but hey, you're entitled to it.

I don't wanna get into a my surgeon's better than your surgeon kinda thing. Let people look at the photos and decide for themselves is what I say.

  2. Dude looks fantastic! Good luck with it!

@Baldingblogger probs super careful design. I had my hairline redone by Dr Villnow when i wasn't happy with the previous doc's hairline and dr villnow made it look insanely natural.

He made a real thing about not making it too straight. The previous doc made it too straight and someone said I looked like Action Man! My journal's here and you can check it out. Check out the last page where I pull back my hair to really get a close look at Dr Villnow's hairlone. Thats that natural look going on

  3. Ok, so got the first set of post-op photos!

Now the operation went really smoothly. The extractions were done by Dr Villnow along with his team and all the cuts were done by the doc.

Pain was not an issue at all. The first injections were tough, like usual but after that it was all easy, no pain, not even later on in the op.

I reckon the op must a took around four or five hours all in and it went by quick.

My hair was cut short by the team and they said I could leave my hair long! Actually it was me who said to cut it all off - just wanted to kinda try that look for a while!

After the op, the team washed my hair again and bandaged it and I went back to my private room.

Got given some medication for swelling, pain and stuff and then just chilled in the room and fell asleep.

All in all, pretty smooth, no pain and relaxed to my room and chill!

So here's the first pic, can't really see much from the front:

    2ljt7o1.jpg

From the sides, you can more but you can see a bit of swelling from the anaesthetic in this pic. That was gone by evening.

Ok, so now these two shots show Dr Villnow's work:

1520 grafts to the back of the head. Gonna keep posting and we'll see what happens.

    Tidy!

  4. OK folks, gotta upload some pics. I'm gonna write a little bit more about the whole thing but like summer's here so hocking in front of the computer just ain't on right now!

Soon, I promise, much more detail on the op and the clinic and all that stuff AND the post op pics!!! They're coming soon!!

For, now here's some shots of the way my hair was before the op once it had been shaved. With this ones you can really see the way Dr Villnow did my hairline and you can also see where the new grafts are going to finish off the job. Reckon I was pretty lucky cos I've got a huge donor area so like 9000 grafts is poss.

Ok, this is the one where you can see where the grafts are gonna go

    ogkuoh.jpg

You know last time, you guys reckoned the hair was better short then long. I don't reckon so. I love the fact that I can grow my hair out. What do you guys really think?

  5. @radiorunner for real! The only guy I'd trust with that many grafts is Dr Villnow although his partner Dr Gerke does great ops too and loads cheaper - like 2 euros a graft or something

@... (like your handle!) dunno about Roberto Martinez but Karim Bellarabi looks good and Dr Villnow sorted him out too. Looked like he was going to Liverpool for a while there

  6. Before any ops:

After the last op with Dr Villnow (ten days after!)

    v3d7oj.jpg

RIGHT! So this is already an AMAZING result! A total of 7350 grafts were put in by Dr Villnow (including 800 body hair grafts) and another great doc in Belgium although the final hairline was done by Dr Villnow in Germany and the tough stuff with body hair was also done by Dr Villnow.

Now I was like Norwood 5/6 to start with so, even with that many grafts, Dr Villnow said I might need more work on the crown so…..back to the Villnow Clinic!

Dr Villnow is also like the nicest guy and his clinic is amazing but really the thing is he does all the celebrities like Jurgen Klopp, Dick Advocaat and a whole bunch of footballers like Metzelder and Karim Bellarabi

So here’s what I’m having done, check out the crown in this pic:

    24xfh8j.jpg

That was at nine months after and now here's the rest of the shots from nine months postop:

Woah, like monster hair all round and you really see Dr Villnow's awesome hairline in that last pic! But still some work for the crown, you can see it there right?

So back to the Villnow Clinic! This time for another 1500 grafts straight into the crown!

I’m going to be taking pics every day (at least for a bit ☺ ) and I’ll put them up as soon as I do it (maybe ☺ )

The clinic was amazing as always and there was another guy from England there just as I arrived who’d had his hair done too.

In the end Dr Villnow got 1570 grafts out which makes a whopping 8920 grafts in total!!!!

I’m going to start posting the photos soon but that’s it for today!

  7. OK folks, it's been mega long since I last posted and so much has happened!!!

    Klopp's at Liverpool now!!

OK, so I've got a way to go before I become Liverpool Manager but at least the same doc did our hairs (with a little help from Dr De Reys;) )!

Sooooo, here we go with the next instalment:

This is going to be that 9 months thing I did in the last post. It's a lot longer than nine months right now but I'll pop those photos up later. Here we go!

First off, from the right, I've been letting it grow a bit as you can see!

    2qxp9iv.jpg

Now from the right with the hair pulled back. You can really see Dr Villnow's superstrong hair line here

    1gstnm.jpg

Here's one from the front - bit unruly but what a change from the photos on the first page!

    29uztw3.jpg

Now one from the back (this is nine months so not fully grown out yet!)

    24xfh8j.jpg

And finally, the chest, pretty much all healed up now!

    293iv81.jpg

Right, that's it for now. Back soon I promise!!!!!!:)))))))))

  8. OK, here’s a taste of that afro style!!!

    00%209%20month%20preview.JPG

It is rocking most definitely now! All this big stuff at the front is mostly Dr De Reys work but those temples are also pretty nice thanks to Dr Villnow who added in the finishing touches. Still you can now really start to see how the growth has been awesome. The hairs are now mega-big and I’m starting to have fun with that! :)

Now, that photo is from the twelve month mark after the last op with Dr Villnow (and like a year and a half or something since the last op with Dr De Reys). Reckon it shows that you just got to be a bit patient with growth. Doesn’t always happen in twelve. But if you wait, boy, is it goooooood!!!!!!!!!!

Now that’s not to say that the growth at 6 months was bad, no sir. Check out these photos below from 6 months after the op with Dr Villnow.

  9. OK guys, here's the new updates. These are three months after the second op (I know it's a lot longer than that right now - I'm not so hot on logging in! :) )

The main thing is the chest. IF you check out this photo, you can see that the chest scars are completely gone. That took three months.

    Here's the photo:

    08%20Post%20Op%20Day%20118%20chest.JPG

I thought it would actually take longer to heal up so I was kinda surprised to see it healed up. No idea if this is quick or slow, I'm just glad it happened.

Actualyl though, even with the scars I still went swimming and I can honestly say not a single person ever noticed a thing. Maybe darker hair hides scars better. Maybe it's not so easy to hide on fairer skin. No idea. All I know is that I was swimming less than a month after the op in public places (on the beach!) and no one noticed a thing.

I know it's gonna get confusing if I start doing previews of future photos for the coming months so here's the next set of photos in order (three months).

I kinda tempted to show you guys the afro thing that I'm growing as I write but I'm saving that one up ;)
