So when u guys say propecia stopped /halted ur hair Loss .. u don’t get random hairs falling sometimes? Like when u run hands through ur hair ?

.. I’ve been on propecia for 15 months .. don’t feel that much difference ..I’m  still experiencing hair fall .. there’s no way that I’m at baseline from where I started like the studies said . Definitely a decline in total hair count since starting the meds for me .. but then it could be that fin slowed it somewhat .:I’m  not really sure.. only thing i know is . If I don’t take anything medically it will get worse . I’m going to start dermarolling soon .. adding that to the mix..

You're not supposed to feel the difference. If you generally look similar to how you did when you started, it's a success.

  2. So after my last surgery, in the fall I decided to go for another pass with Dr Lupanzula. He offered to do a touch up in the front, which came to be about 900 grafts, and I wanted to do an additional 1500ish in the midscalp which had been untouched so far. I'll post photos shortly. Right now I'm 4.5 months post-op. I had planned on posting earlier, but was unable to as I got pretty busy around the holiday season, and frankly after month 2, I don't really think about my hair too much (other than maybe my my donor area, but that's another issue).

Again, many thanks to "Joe" who encouraged me to stay with it.

    I'll post photos shortly!

Personally I would just recommend he go for another pass across his hairline, midscalp and crown, 2000-2500 grafts will make the world of difference and its a relatively straight forward surgery that shouldn't cost the earth.

So this is generally what I ended up doing. I'll post another thread shortly.

  4. I had mentioned in an older thread that though I like his work and the clinic's feel and reputation, I wasn't overly impressed with Lupanzula's density.

    Cons

    - Possibly not a density king?! If you look closely at his hairlines and some areas behind the hairline you can see scalp even in pictures with many patients. I don't know, even though my transplanted hair does not have "amazing" density at least in pics you cannot see my scalp. Bit worried about this..

Sorry it didn't work you for you man. Have a repair procedure with Konior, Erdogan or Lorenzo.

Konior being my top choice if you can get a booking with him.

    best of luck

Thanks. Fair point, but I guess nothing can be done now. This has been such a draining exercise, I don't know if I have it in me to get even more work done. Time will tell I guess.

  5. Hey guys, sorry for the delay in posting. I have been dealing with an unrelated health issue. But as promised here are my 10M photos. I sent them to the clinic, and their response was that they note improvement over the frontal region where the surgery was done. While I note the improvement, the density is not as great as I had hoped.

Please let me know what you all think- this is 10 Months. I will also post 12 Month images.

  6. Hey all, I spoke with Dr Lupanzula, and he said that there is still more growth to come and to wait the full 12 months. I will be patient and keep updating you guys. I've been a lot busier with work recently, so don't log on as much as before, but I will update with 11month and 12 month results. Appreciate the support from you guys!

  7. Hey, I have been really busy, but am updating as per request. A few comments for...transparency.

    - I have reached out to the clinic, and will update you all.

    - I changed my meds in Month 7 - moved from alternating finasteride and dutasteride EOD to dutasteride only on weekends. That is likely responsible for the worrying decline in crown. That's on me though and I have increased dutasteride to 5x a week.

    - That said, the front is still weak and was slow to begin with.
