Postdoc Did you have transplant at both crown and front? If yes, how slow was your crown growth as compared to front/mid?

There is an opinion that one must wear lose hat, which do not touch the grafts, in the beginning. My question is: When is it OK to start wearing hat/ball cap or beanie normally after hair transplant?

Yes I understand I needed to be careful and reading other posts related to this issue I understood its OK to wear hat after the scabs are gone. However, some posters mention that one need to let the scalp get some air and not wear hat etc. for long time. So, it's the extended period (8 hours) of wearing hat/bandana that worries me. Is my worry and concern realistic or am I just paranoid?

Great forum, I must say! I know this question has been asked many times but perhaps I'll add in a twist. I had an FUE surgery 7 days ago and I'm due to be at work on day 10. My work environment allows me to wear hat (even bandana). However, my working hours are 8 hours long. The question is if it is OK to wear bandana (or hat for that matter) for that long everyday only 10 days post surgery?

Yes, thats a good point j1j9j85. Luckilly I do not have to worry about the donor scar because I had an FUE. Regarding the danger of cat or dog jumping over my head, I think I can avoid that quite easily and I don't worry about it much. What I'm most concerned and worried about is the not-so-cleanliness at my parents home because of the presence of a dog and a cat. You know all the animal hair around etc. as well as its much more challenging to keep the home tidy :-S I hope I'm not being too paraoid here?

Hi, I'm a long time surfer and first time poster here and it was this forum that lead me to an outstanding surgeon for my procedure. Thanks a lot! Though this forum is full of information, I have a unique question (or a parnoia so to say). I had an HT 11 weeks ago and next weekend I'm planning to visit my parents. My parents have a cat and a dog and they usually jump around me and on my bed as well which leave bed sheets and sofas etc. full of dog's and cat's hair (and of course not to mention the rest of the house ). So, my question is whether I should be worried visiting there in such evironment where there are pets and stay there for few days? Would it make my scalp too dirty etc. and effect my HT results? (On a side note, I also use toppik on the existing thinning areas)
