I'm at the 3 month mark, the same questions I'm asking myself. The vets seem to think its that horrible waiting game, you and me mate need to see where we are in another 3 months, we are fresh out the ugly duckling stage ( I just posted my Picts at 3 mths today, have a look).
take care Bucks

3 months and 1 week to be exact from surgery with Dr Lindsey.
I've noticed some hairs, very faint and thin on my left hand side, not much going on my right side:( so it's all a bit frustrating, I've not had my hair cut since surgery, so I'm now able to cover the surgical areas, I'm glad to be out the ugly duckling stage but frustrated not enough growth being seen, I know this is normal at this stage but damn it hair grow, grow grrrrrrrrrr, rant over, cheers and feel free to comment.

I'm sure Spex will answer this thread, I'm interested in knowing both sides of this.
What I can say about Spex is that he's been fantastic in helping me from start to finish, I'm a little over 3 months post op and regard him highly.

Hi, its always best to post pictures, It's expected that the original transplant hair sheds ( it's unusual it keeps growing) is this the case with you?
My opinions are my own

Like his work, good luck and in my opinion great Dr.

Hello mate, I'm no expert but can see why you'd be concerned. May I suggest talking to your Dr or a hair vet called Spex on here and of course Bill or Pat. It would be nice to here what they think.

I was worried brfore and after, it's only normal. There's always a risk with surgery, but like bonkerstonker says, thinking about the positives kept me happy and focused.

Spex, I have let my hair grow from grade 3 for two months, can't see scar (so far so good). I have confidence in Dr Lindsey. Maybe when I have my hair cut, might see a bit more.

Hi Dr Lindsey, maybe it's because I've let my hair grow, it's got a curl in it that helps.
Will come and see you in October, I can buy you/Spex a cold Beer.
Hopefully I will be sporting a new hairstyle.

Awsome stuff, congrats

Dr Lindsey-Hello. In reply I can't find the scar, I will post my 3 month pictures with front and back. Really happy about your needlework skills, I was worried about FUT because of it. When Spex and a few others on here informed me you were a great surgeon, I can see first hand why. Thank you so much.
Spex, lol

Angelico, you've got to wait at least 18 months from what I understand, please be patient, you might not need to anything, give yourself time and the results to bloom. We are talking about surgery. The opinions are my own I'm not qualified.

Spex, I've read your e-book back to front 10 times. It has helped.
Thanks for commenting.
