  1. what's the reason about taking it off topic? He is political, he had a transplant and it involved Bosley. Lighten up.
  2. Liberals just can't handle my boy Rush. Puts their panties in a wad everytime!
  3. Was watching Bill Oreilly last night and Dennis Miller brought up the fact that he had a hair transplant of 25oo grafts. This after chastising VP Biden for his goofy HT!
  4. If worried about no having HT noticed would this guy have an option of 1500 done now and another 1000 in 12 months?
  5. Why not look for a surgeon that does not require you to shave? Post op. apperance is by far my biggest concern. Good Luck! jont
  6. "The laser cauterizes the hole and that stops the much needed blood supply for healing and regrowth." Seemed to have found my answer on the search feature. jont
  7. I've yet to hear anything about a laser being used instead of a knife. I was reading that Laser PhotoTherapy for hair is a scientific discovery that uses the energy of laser light to nourish and revitalize your hair. Light is energy and living cells respond to light. Stimulating the scalp with the light promotes blood supply to hair roots. What got my attention is that the post op is less noticeable which is a prime concern of mine since I have some existing hair that might supply cover. They claim to have no collateral scalp damage. Ive yet to read however any network doctors that uses a laser. Any reason why not? Thanks jont

  9. Thanks guys. Im just going to have to see what the finesteride will do. Im in the public way to much and live in small town.I know it's a personal hang-up thing with me that may prevent it ever getting done. I just can't get over the post op appearance even though I might can get by with it. Perhaps two procedures over 12 months instead of one 2500 graft procedure. I Will email Cooley's office for advice. Thanks again!
  10. randy, It was Dr. Cooley. Im now not so much concerned about a thousand or two considering the doctor. Thanks to all of you. jont
  11. Petski, Im very similar to your pic. But I am concerned about the visibility a few days after the procedure. I can disappear for a couple days but not much longer. Thank you jont
  12. After having my consult I stressed I wanted to be as discreet about it as possible. I want to hide ever having it done. The doctor recommended 2000 top and hairline and 500 on crown. I was thinking more like 1500/500. Im not looking to get back 10 years. Is this size session to large to hide? Thanks

  14. John, Thanks, but it is about $8000 that I will be spending. Thoughts on Dr Cooley?
  15. Is $4 per graft about right. I went to a consult yesterday to a highly respected surgeon mentioned on this board and that has the cost minus a cash discount of 10%. thanks jont
