Current scalp density

I’m fine with pulling a lot from there as well. I’d rather add on armpit, chest, shoulder, butt, anything else for density. Who is everyone using for bht? I don’t have a dr umar budget for this

My last ht was fue so I’m that far, 1st 2 were the scar. Should be able to search my posts for my results. Shaving now due to original hair thinning and not really caring too much but I’d go again if a dr had some positive results. Gods little joke... hair everywhere except my damn head lol

I did my ht’s a few years back so I have not kept up on current trends. I’ve been shaving my head for the past 5 years now without a problem and not caring about my massive scar. I have read that body hair (chest etc) never really had guaranteed results? I’m out of head donor hair and don’t want to strip my beard and neck But I can pull from anywhere else for 1 last transplant before I get old and don’t care anymore. search results weren’t very forthcoming any recommended doctors? I’m willing to travel worldwide if needed.

I’m going to bump this old thread because I’d like to get a body hair transplant in turkey if anyone has any positive feedback to post. Some of them seem so well priced and I don’t like my body hair anyways 😃 I shave my head now days due to thinness but I’ll post pictures if anyone wants to see them 6 years post op

Just got back to the USA, no Internet in Australia. I'm going to attempt to put some pics up real quick. Day 1 Day 3 Day 4 Day 14 iPad took terrible pictures in aus so I apologize for not being more thorough.

Hotel has limited wifi and I've been hitting it on a daily basis so I can't upload any pictures. Dressings come off this morning so maybe I can post a couple this afternoon. I was honestly pretty sketchy about coming alone but the dr has been extremely nice and accommodating. The lift install is running late so he's still in his original office

Thanks bud but I'm 2414 grafts newer as of today. I was tired of random shiny areas in pictures from the front and my crown was only getting worse. I actually liked the shaved look before surgery but my scar would have prevented that regardless

Looking pretty good... He asked me to consider 500 or so from the beard area. How soon does it look normal again down there? I'm assuming yours is close to healed by now? I'm currently sitting at the altius awaiting my surgery in a couple hours. Everything up until this point regarding the dr has been incredible. Are you still in town by chance? Ill be here until Sunday cooped up in the hotel.

Thanks man. ill only have time to be a tourist the day before surgery. ill be staying 3days after but im assuming ill be inside those days. Dr bhatti recommended The altius for a hotel. Flying all the way into Chandigarh. The flights were a little pricy but I think it'll save any confusion in the long run. The csr from cheapoair actually called me after I booked it and spent 45 minutes finding me better flights with lower layovers which was cool.

Just booked my flights to Chandigarh for a week from today, staying there for a week. Dr bhatti arranged for a car and a nice hotel. Everything thus far has been easy with their office. Getting nervous.. Thinking about using scalp donor for the crown and body hair to make everything appear fuller. My hair is always very short but that may be because of the loss. Maybe ill have a chance to rock a mullet just because I can

I agree that his results are great but its hard to justify a $25,000 difference for the same procedure.

Thanks buddy. Ill be in Melbourne Australia for a few weeks prior. I love different cultures and food I guess it's just the language barrier I'm worried about. I'd rather explore the city than sit in the hotel but ill also be just out of surgery so ill probably just stay in.

Just got my tourist visa back so I'm set. I'm nervous about the cabs and food, and just figuring things out in general. I feel like I'm going to be stuck in my room the entire time which should be about a week

Thanks man... I just spent about $200 on a 6 month multiple entry from travisa. Just have to find a hotel and calm my nerves about traveling to India alone.

Can anyone who's been to India advise me on the correct visa needed to have the ht done? Medical, business, tourist.....

Made my appointment with dr bhatti in march but I'm assuming I need a visa to enter the country. I've been to Australia quite a bit and I know I can get in on the $20 eta visa without any issues. I looked at the main page for Indian visas and I'm assuming I apply for a tourist one? Any input guys? Thanks in advance

I'm in nearly the same boat as you (3 previous fut, ugly scar, similar current growth) and I just sent my deposit to dr bhatti for 3-4000 fue grafts. I'd like to use as many body hairs as possible as I'd laser them off anyways. Check out my posts if you're interested. I have a couple questions.. When filling in the crown, why did he not blend into the existing hair? When, if any, of the existing hair goes it'll create that island look. I think blending would buy a few more years Why did you not fill in your entire scar? I'd ideally like to cut my hair with a #2 or #3 after my procedure. My scar is the only thing holding me back from that now. Thanks for the awesome write up. Hopefully ill be able to do the same in march

Just out of curiosity, how much does an average scar revision cost? Trying to avoid beard hair as much as possible for facial scarring. I was going to laser every but of body hair off so they are welcome to take all of it

The pictures make it look a lot better than it really is. In person it's patchy up front, bald crown, and the scar is visible with anything lower than a #4. Can't cut it short due to scar, can't let it grow due to crown and odd frontal. That's my predicament Going with bhatti due to patient feedback and cost. I feel that a dr with positive patient results and experience the job is the job. I've received estimates above $10 per graft which results in a $40k surgery. While some doctors in prime locations may be able to command such high prices, I'm not wealthy enough to justify that. Definitely not trying to be cheap but multiple happy patients make the choice easier

Ya I'm just going to fill in what I have and hope the blood flow/ tissue is sufficient to support regrowth.

About to schedule with dr bhatti, just have a couple questions for you guys. I'm filling in my scar, crown, and adding density to the front. I'd like to stick with body hair as much as possible, then scalp, then beard. I'm trying to avoid the possibility of scarring on my face Is there better hair suited for better areas for consistency? After this I want to be able to shave with a 2 or 3 and look relatively natural.
