FTS and 1978 Matt, thanks for the replies. I will take your advice and see a doc to see if I can get a prescription for finasteride. Hopefully it can thicken things up a bit or at a minimum stabilize the loss on top!

Hello all. I have been on this site for a little while now and, like most of us, wish we were in a situation where we didn't have to view a site such as this one but am extremely grateful it exists and has such knowledgeable individuals running it and posting their comments. Anyways, I'm looking to get your take on my situation and how you would proceed. I'm 30 years old and have had thinning hair for roughly 10 years. I have been taking rogaine foam for approx 1 year and it appears to have slowed the thinning but am now considering a HT. As for history, both grandfathers had shiny domes so the cards don't appear to be in my favor! I'd love to do FUE as I work in an office and want minimal visible scarring but also know that overall graft count tends to be lower than FUT. I have attached photos for review. Of the doctors considered so far, Feller seems to have a great rep and is at the top of my list although there have been no initial consults to date, simply research through this site. Thanks for your time!

Hi Irishstreak, Congratulations on taking action! I'm curious if you guys discussed shockloss at all? Obviously not saying that you are experiencing it, but just interested to see what Dr. Haber's response was if the questions was brought up as to whether he expected you to experience any after the surgery.
