  1. Yo yo. Tip noted down and following. Have had a hair cut twice since Feb. Both the times I left the front and top untouched (ofcourse with fine adjustment) while back/sides were made short. It's looking great. The top definitely looks more dense when the sides are short, as can be seen from the pics.
  2. Hey guys. 1 year since the surgery. Some pics I took today. Also, 1 year on Tugain and Finax. Havn't noticed or experienced any side effects, so would continue with it, for as long as I can. Having Green tea everyday also helps your hair i guess. It's definitely helped get rid of the tummy fat though . I've never looked more fitter. Very happy.
  3. was out of country the whole month. I'll do an update later today.
  4. Yo Boys. I'm a patient of Dr.Radha too. On 8 months now. Have posted pics every month upto 6th month. Would post pics after completion of 9 months (March 10th) The link below, if it helps anyone make their decisions http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167371-2500-grafts-dr-radha-progress.html
  5. Worth every penny. I'm sure you have absolutely no regrets. Very difficult to imagine a better result than this with that low grafts. Pretty similar to my result so far. I'm on 7th month now.
  6. It falls between the both sets of values you mentioned, is all i can tell you about the amount.
  7. I can't pass on any confidential information. The rates that were applicable to me were fixed after my discussions with her, and 6 months on, I can safely say it was worth every penny. Furthermore, 6 months is a lot of time. I'm pretty sure the rate now would not be same as it was then. I suggest you contact her directly (phone/email). She'll help you with any information you need. Dr.Madhu let her assistants do the talking and interaction during my consultation, which was a turn-off. Dr.Radha exchanged mails and had personal interaction on her own. She seemed caring and understanding too. So I chose her.
  8. Thanks. Yup, I'm very satisfied too. Money well spent. And I got exactly what I was promised. When she narrated the pre-surgery plan, she promised me ' a completely new hairline, with dense front, and average middle. The crown was left untouched. I'm also 6 months into Tugain/Finax, which I apply only on the crown area. I think its reached shedding phase now, cause I'm losing lots of hair around crown region. Hoping to have new hair soon. I havn't thought about second procedure yet, but when and if I do, it is clear it'll be to add density in the middle and also work the crown region. Till then I'm hoping Tugain/Finax and also GreenTea to add some improvement to my crown.
  9. Some more pics, wet and non-wet, from different angles, and different light. 6 months and 9 days
  10. Completed 6 months today. 10 great pics taken just after bath. I have a question. What can I expect in the next few months now? What does the period 7-9 months generally do?
  11. Hi, A happy Diwali to all the Indians out here. May the lights, and sweets be always with you. I have completed 5 months this Sunday. Here are the pics. P.S - Check out the last pic. That is the result I achieve after a little sprinkle of Nanogen fibres. Don't use it everyday, but it helps whenever there is a function to attend. It adds density to the existing hair, without getting noticeable. Ofcourse you have to follow the thumb rule '' little is more". I just sprinkle a little, almost negligible, yet great difference. Very happy.
  12. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/162046-looking-ahead.html My other thread which i posted earlier, with all the possible travel tips i could share. The cost of living and food is not a problem, wealth of quality options in every budget.
  13. I've completed 3 months yesterday, and this are my 3 month pics. I've mailed them to Dr.Radha too, lets see what she thinks. What do you guys think? P.S - The pics were clicked immediately after shower, so some pics will have wet hair.
  14. Cardel, I have followed your progress. You're one of those who trusted Dr.Radha when she was not officially recommended here on this forum. Awesome result you got for that less grafts. I'm hoping it does the same to me too.
  15. donor laxity man. She managed as much as possible. I had the funds for upto 3200 grafts but donor permitted only 2500. Have about 1500 for second session, which like i said, i'll decide based on the progress. May decide to improve the front and mid-scalp further or may decide to fix the crown. When you look into the mirror, you obviously only see the front, and not the back of your head. There will be odd comment from, people here and there, but basically its you, who should be happy with how you look. Isn't it? Atleast I am of that opinion, that is how i go on with my life. So for me, the front has to be good, not much concerned about the crown. I'm hoping Tugain and Finax can do improvement to my crown.
  16. I'm continuing with Tugain and Finax once a day, and I alternate between normal shampoo, and anti-dandruff shampoo as and when required. I am a Dermmatch and Nanofibre user, but I havn't used it at all since surgery. Maybe I'll start using it 3 months post op. I'll complete 3 months on Sep 9th, I'll post pics then. Thanks Comments from experienced users, and any tips/recommendations will be welcome. Thanks
  17. This are Day 17 Post Op pics. I guess here I stopped the Johnson's baby shampoo, and started with the normal shampoo. I also started with Tugain 5% solution (Cipla) applied on the crown area once a day, and also Finax tab 1 mg (Dr.Reddy's) once a day. I started using both at this period.
  18. For my surgery experience, and travel tips, please go through my earlier posted thread. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/162046-looking-ahead.html
  19. This is my pre-op pics. Norwood 5a, moving towards Norwood 6
  20. Hi I actually created a thread here earlier in other section, but I guess it gets ignored because of the odd title name. People keep sending me private messages, so I decided to make one thread here, with proper title, and pics right from pre-op, post-op, and then as per progress. I'm 27, and Norwood 5a, moving to Norwood 6, so it is understandable that I'll need more than one session, and around 4000 grafts, maybe more if possible. But to start, 4000 is the target. In the first session, I was looking for 2500-3000 grafts where Dr would give me a new hairline, starting with dense front, and going backwards with average density, till we run out of grafts. First session results. 1 hair - 917 2 hair - 1476 3 hair - 100 Total - 2493 grafts or 4169 hair. I'll see the results after a year, and then decide if it needs tweaking or improvements. If not, I can concentrate only on the crown area for the second session. The doctor has told me I can expect around 1500 grafts for the second session. She advised me to have laxity exercises, if I want to increase the chances for even more grafts. We'll see.
