  1. Hi simply complicated,

Thank you for your detailed information sent. But just a quick question, Is your head noticeable to others that you had an HT ? I ask this question because, some say post HT can cause redness and scabs on the recipient zone. Are you experiencing any of these complications ?

I need to be on work within the next 5 days post HT. But I worry, how it may seem to others ? I wish, i could take some more days on leave.

    Thanks

  2. Hi simply complicated,..

Thank you very much for taking time to give a clear picture of your updates. Happy to know that its been two months now and I don't believe you have to wait long, may be for a month more or so to see the first start of results. I was startled that you haven't mentioned anything about your donor scar. Hope it is not visible now. Anyways, I would advice you to please call up or forward your concern to Dr. Madhu personally, about shedding hairs in the morning which you have mentioned above. To my opinion, I believe it is only a phase of shockloss and nothing to do with Finasteride, so you shouldn't worry much about it. But it is always preferable to seek medical advice from the doctor, or it would have been nice if Dr. Madhu can answer you here. Anyways, seek your convenience to report this to him.

Take care and get well soon.

  3. hi lifeneverhadaprobelm

You are correct. If you visit a good dermatologist, they never encourage an a mid 20 person to take Propecia mainly because of the bad effects on sexual health, but it is varies from individual to individual on their decision. But according to me I think you have made a right move, of not taking it. It is fine with a mid age person.

I am not under any medication. As per information from my friend in Hydrabad, Dr. Madhu charges Rs 50 per graft. I think it is also quiet reasonable if you can get the best of services, compared with cost to other HT surgeons world wide. You have many patient results from Dr. Madhu. It is wise to contact the clinic and request for patient results experience. Personal consultation with the doctor is always better, as said in his website.

    Hope this helps friend

  6. Hi Simply complicated,..

Happy to know that Dr. Madhu have prescribed you very mild medicines post your HT. Dear Friend, i would like to know if you are experiencing any existing hair loss (shock loss) from donor or recipient area ? Because it is believed that one tend to loose hair after HT which are in the resting stage, and regrow again in a month or two. Please reply, if you have any experience because i guess its been two weeks now that you had your HT.

    Thanks

  7. Hi Simply complicated..

I have an open question. Any one is invited to throw light.

I know it is stupid may be but out of curiosity, what assurance does the medical field or surgeons have that the remaining hair in the donor scar area will remain in future because the grafts are basically taken OUT from the donor area to the recipient area, leaving the donor area graftless may be ?? I don't know.

    Thanks

  8. Dear Simply comlicated

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. This is quiet informative. But I strongly suggest you to please go through the side effects and complications of these medications, as I believe Finax is orally taken. There are many places here in US, where this is banned as Propecia, now a days due to its complications. But its all left to you to judge. I just felt like letting you out about the present scenario and of my opinion.

Regarding the 3400 grafts, I believe it can give a pretty good density atleast on to top.
