  1. hey all,

    here's the six month update...

i feel the left side is good, right side not so much, dr umar said anything not to my liking, he would make 100% satisfied even offered to tentatively schedule an appt. in feb. I wish i could give a glowing review and say im totally happy now but i cant however umar has reassured me that this is a journey we go down together and we will make sure that im completely satisfied at the end

  2. In a nutshell, the left side seems perfect for 3 months and if the right side looked like the left I'd be 100% confident of a satisfactory outcome. However, it seems to me like the right has grafts placed further apart from each other and that it's not as dense with coverage very see through I hope there's more sprouts with thickening of some of the singles to help in the coming months it's early time will tell

  3. hi fellas,

i had my procedure on may 28 so we are around the 3.25ish month mark. i am slightly dubious about my outcome. i think of myself as a black belt in ht knowledge and i feel like my right side is lagging i feel like the placement is too far apart. i know its early so well just keep on waiting

  4. i've done a grip of research know all the possible outcomes and risks, let's not hijack this thread, if any of y'all got any questions feel free to ask anything ya want,

one person pm'd me asked how much umar charged...

    7/graft without pics

6/graft with pics, hence one of the reasons im updating this blog along with to help out others

  5. The only part that really hurt was the first needle to the back of the skull to numb hurt like fuck then the rest was completely numb the "punches" I'm not sure your caught up to today's advancements but I guess it would be 1556 "fue punches"

honestly the only thing I care about is how I look in 3/4 months, I'm keeping my fingers crossed

  6. two month mark, ive thought about shaving it, my hair has only grown to prolly a number 6 or 7 on the hair clipper grade scale,

I can see a few little sprouts coming out the iphone pix dont do this justice the redness is unnoticeable im just jonesing for another 4 months to come about

i'll put up pix later iphone not sending pix to gmail acct for some reason.... everything seems on track

  7. i had a procedure with dr. umar and was informed to get on rogaine before the op. i told him i hadn't done it on the operation day and he said it was more for the body hair transplant people. afterwards, he gave me a minoxidil gel to apply to my reciept area that i did until it ran out now i havent done any meds for about three weeks and am wondering/considering using the rogaine foam that he recommended once the gel ran out...

  8. Its time for a new personal icon.

    thanks for the deep insight

I created a post in the questions section, but i'll put it here as well. 4 weeks out my redness had all but subsided. I got a nice job promotion in hawaii, so i decided to visit some old college buddies before leaving feeling 100% confident they wouldn't notice. They all said nothing, and we started getting crazy down in Tempe,az. After very heavy drinking, were all wasted one of my buddies starts asking what's that line on your head at around 3am! i book out of the area pass out somewhere and leave the next day with no other comments. now my redness has come back strong and it sucks...

hopefully it'll go away again in a few days...

  9. at the three week mark, redness is subsiding which is great. It helps to put on a baseball hat and lay out get some sun on the rest of your face, also alot of the hairs are coming out which is supposedly totally normal. They need to invent hair transplants that just stay in and dont need to fall out and then come back. ill put up pix at one month...

here is the two week mark, most hairs have stayed in so far, I hope they will stay in, the pink curve around my hairline is painfully obvious to me however nobody has mentioned it to me which is awesome. I am glad I haven't had to facitiously explain it's a rash, and if further pressed it was a reaction to a "rogaine shampoo". Now, i can expect the hairs to fall out and try to deal with this pinkness as best as possible until hopefully the 3.5 monthish mark.
