    Thanks for the compliment.

Its not that I’m afraid to disclose my doctor, I just want my photo updates and progress/results to speak for themselves first and foremost,  as I feel that’s what everyone should judge moreso that any particular ‘technique’ or ‘method’ or ‘tools’ or ‘surgeon’,

I do plan to update and mention my doc as I get close to my 1-year mark or as close to the point where I feel I’m completely happy/satisfied beforehand as I’m not even at the 8.5 months yet, as I’m still seeing slight improvements here and there.

Did you have an Ht?...do you have a progress post link?

I'm sorry, I just dont understand your logic.  I don't know how disclosing the surgeon would take away from your result in any way. Clearly, people are curious and your information could help them make a decision.  But to each their own, i just dont understand it.

Yes I have had a HT, I plan to post the results soon.

  2. The title says it all. I have come across a lot of threads have concerns about weather the result will be good or not. Or if they took a particular issue with the doc or something they did.  They will say things like I don't want to give the name until i speak with the doc or something to that extent.  One thread I remember even said they thought they may get in trouble for mentioning a doctor's name.  If you have proof and documentation of whatever qualms or issues you have then why don't people like to mention the doctor's name?  I've just never been able to understand this.

  3. Hey man, I wouldnt panic too much. I had much worse shock loss in the back. If you looked in the dictionary for the definition of "ugly duckling stage" I would have definitely won. it was incredibly bad, i think it got its worse after 1 month. but I am at 5.5 months post op now and i can tell you with certainty it is growing back. Lucky you though, you have long hair. I wear my hair short and it was incredibly incredibly difficult to hide. I think i started noticing improvements around month 3.5 to 4. Happy growing!

  4. I am 100% satisfied, I don’t have to use concealers, I want to, that’s the difference, I didn’t use concealers for my first two procedures and I was happy, but to achieve the look I want I choose to use them. You have to remember also I was bald Norwood 6 you can never match your original density with transplants alone when you’re Norwood 6.

Well it looks great man. I am happy for you

  5. You know i was thinking the same thing as you. I've seen so many documented procedures on here and with some of those, 2 days post op you can really tell they've had something major done to the head. I'm 3 days post op and apart from a few blood spots, the work still looks really clean. I'm also shocked that i have had no swelling and such minor pain. Whatever he does, he does it well!

I'll be sure to ask him when i see him tomorrow and report back!

Yeah, it actually had me quite worried when I had surgery with him. When I went back for my second check up I think like 3 or 4 days post op, I tried to ask but I didn't really know how to ask that question without sounding like an ass or dumb. But I told them I was having a hard time seeing the grafts, the assistant said she had magnification and could see all the grafts and everything looked great. Then Dr. Cooley walked in and told me to just feel all the grafts. Which i did but I don't think i got the answer i was looking for. Because there is definitely a difference, when I had surgery at another clinic before I could see exactly where the grafts were places. With a bump/pimple appearance. And because of the ATP spray there really isn't in crusting to be able to tell either.

I was also worried about facial swelling because the prior surgery I looked like a lemon head. I asked Dr. Cooley prior to surgery. He said I shouldn't worry about it as he has "tricks" for that. and sure enough, I had no facial swelling. I don't know if it was partially because most of the grafts were placed in the crown this time. But he is definitely good at what he does.

Anyway, yeah please let us know what he says when you ask him! Super curious.

  6. Why do you think you would get in trouble? This is supposed to be a place where we are able to share our experiences openly, good or bad. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure i know which surgeon you speak of. I just had an operation with said surgeon 10 days ago. I plan to share my experiences here so I wonder why you feel that way. But it looks good now, glad it worked out.
